Car Show Shot's #306

Car ShowShot by ShoemanchuEquipment:Canon 60D DSLRTamron 18-270 f3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD IF Canon EF lensDate 10-12-24Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and these are from a car show I went to in the mountains, pretty far drive but was worth it. Now again here are six shots that I edited and stopped again, put in a different folder to edit. My problem was that my camera was really dirty inside, I shot at a high F stop due to how sunny and bright it was on this day and when I was editing mainly in the cloud areas, I had to do a lot of spot cleaning in them clouds with specs due to dirt of some sort being in my camera. I was frustrated for that just takes to long to do, so maybe one day I will get back to it and show more cars and trucks but for now here are the shots that I edited. Lets get into these shots, the cover shot is by far my favorite and glad I got this scene, it is an old theater in the backdrop and I just think it is a cool shot with this modified car in it. I cant remember what car this was but I do know it is an expensive old school car, to find now or even fixed up. I wish I didn't have people in it but that was not easy, so many people came to this car show. I think it was over 100 cars and trucks, the shut down three blocks of main street. In the next shot below, was actually the end of the show, as the rest of these shots are. Two Chevy's and it was cool to get them crossing lanes leaving.

 "Brandt's Cormorant" Shot's #304

Brandt's CormorantShot by ShoemanchuEquipment:Canon 60D DSLRCanon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom LensDate 3-18-24Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and these are a new species I have never posted yet to this date. I finally got to another folder of some cool shots of different birds etc. Now this bird right here is pretty cool to capture and it is way different than the other Cormorants, when it is mating season the colors of the blue and around the eyes sparkle, not to mention their eyes are just so dang cool looking. I missed capturing them with the pearl looking spots around the eyes, that is what every photographer is trying to capture but I did get some good ones towards the beginning of the year. I did just go again, not as cool but got some shots using my brother in laws camera. No edits on those for now but some day. These shall do for now and I do have more to show, so you all my get some more shots down the road. They are edited and ready but I have so much to share, I have been editing a lot lately, so lets get into today work. These shots, the cover shot I just had to go with, the one above. I was trying to get a good head shot or two and this one is so nice, I made it a bit darker so the blue pops at you, they eyes look so nice too here but I have more closer ones I will show later that highlight those eyes. Also some have the white hair on the side of the head like this one but most don't, I like these ones with that extra hair or feathers I suppose. It was baby season here too, I have some on eggs and only one or two had the babies out, which I got shot of too, again those will be later and were harder to get. In this shot below, the second one is the Brandt's Cormorant sitting on the eggs. Such a cool shot here, the colors are nice, I just don't really like the background but take what you can get I suppose.

 "Waterfall" Shot's #303

WaterfallShot by ShoemanchuEquipment:Canon 60D DSLRCanon EFS 18-135mm LensDate 7-27-24Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and these are from one of the hikes I did back on that long vacation. I might have posted some from my camera phone but I don't remember if I did, but these are from the real camera and with some edits. This will be post one of two, I have a bunch more I will throw onto another post down the road but here today I have six shots to share. So why dont we jump right into them, the cover shot, the one above is my favorite, oh also keep in mind I did not want to carry my tripod to do these and these shot were taken hand held in a real slow shutter speed to get the waterfall looking like this, I am sure many of you know it is not easy to do so holding it and really should be on a tripod. With that said really like this one, it is the one I got the furthest back, so more rocks, trees etc in this scene. Let me tell you that this place was amazing and I wish to go back some day but so many more to explore while your on the east coast. It like your are all walled in like a circle around you and the cliffs are very high with trees at the edges, pretty epic and I think I might have some panorama shots from the phone I will post one day so you can see how crazy this place is. In the second shot below, was when we almost arrived at the waterfall, this was across the other side of the river and I really think it is a cave, wanted to explore but it was deep and I saw no way to get across.

 "Red-Crowned Amazon Parrot" Shot's #301

Red-Crowned Amazon ParrotShot by ShoemanchuEquipment:Canon 60D DSLRCanon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom LensDate 1-27-24Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and this is not a new species that I have captured but on another trip to my local lake I got some really good Red-Crowned Parrot shots. These today will be some head shots that I got, they are cropped a bit so I lost a little quality in them but they are still pretty nice to present here today on my post. I have four shots to share today and these four shots were taken back in the beginning of the year, in January. It amazes me on how much stuff I still have to go through, I have so many shots that it makes me excited when I open up a new folder and boom, shots and more shots to edit. I made a post or two on old shots of these Red-Crowned Parrots, but a reminder I am fortunate to capture them, for they are on the endangered species list. They are from lowlands and foothills in northeast Mexico but make the journey up north it seems, for I have been seeing them here since starting all this birding years ago. I hope they make a comeback, it would be sad to not see these birds in the future. I remember doing research on them years ago, now it seems they are called Red-Crowned Amazon on all the stuff I used to check out back then. Lets get into the shots, the cover shot, the one above is by far my favorite, I did lose quality from the crop and from bring the noise out of the photo but still cool to me and this time was the closest I have ever to to them. I really like them all in color and the black/white versions too. In the second shot below another cool one and it is pretty fun watching these guys. I have more too, the pair together, so those will come later on. I did miss them mating and the babies when I went on that long vacation though. It all happened while I was gone but in this location is where they o
