Yep. I was scouring the Internet, looking for some form of content to use extend my new buzzing writing streak a few more days when it hit me.
Why not something for my stacking friend's and in relation me..
Finally paid off my loan and now I can set my sights and save my bank for more tangible, shiny things!!
Anyways, I decided to check the silver part of the Internet and I came across a piece that I like really really well.
The US Marine Corps Silver Dollar is a commemorative coin that celebrates the US SEALS and their contributions to the country's security.
This coin is the first of its kind and it marks the 250th anniversary of the US Marines.
So
One thing I love about this coin is it's simplistic yet detailed design, like the creases on the submarines shirt as they try to plant the flag.
The reverse is a bit more cool, needless to say.
This is one design that I haven't seen beforehand and the anchor, globe and eagle kind of blends well in a way😂.
A coin of 99.9% silver weighing 0.859 Troy Oz and a 400,000 mintage. It's a fairly good piece for any collector, the fact that it's the only of its kind so far is another great incentive ✨
EDIT: Had already made the post and then slept off before clicking publish, so ther shows my streak 😭😭😂
