First Things First: What is Pasikon?Pasikon isn’t one of those beaches buzzing with tourists. It’s quiet, raw, and so charming in its untouched beauty. The moment I stepped onto the soft white sand and saw the calm, crystal-clear waters stretching out under the sun, I knew,this was where summer magic happens.

Our fourth day in Siargao started a little differently. While Jez and Chrissie had family day plans with their little cuties, it was just me, Demple, and Nhine ready for some lowkey bonding time. So what did three fabulous ladies craving a laid-back afternoon do? We headed straight to Siargao Books Café, a cozy hideaway that’s equal parts charming, aesthetic, and delicious.

If you’ve been following along on my Siargao Diaries, you’ll remember I mentioned in Day 3’s post that our lunch at Trogon’s Perch was too good not to deserve its own feature, and girl, here it is. Because honestly? This spot served in all aspects: views, vibes, and very satisfying food, all with a Mediterranean twist that felt like a mini escape within the island escape.

If Day 2 was all about hopping from lagoon to river like full-on island babes, Day 3 was our main character road trip episode. We decided it was time to explore the farther gems of Siargao, so we went all in! We rented a car that fit all seven of us and paid ₱2,500 for a 24-hour joyride across the island. Honestly? Worth every peso for the memories alone.

Before the Day 3 chaos kicked in, we took a moment to slow things down and indulge in something sacred, a breakfast date at Shaka Siargao. If you know, you know: this place is a must for anyone craving fresh, healthy bites in an island setting that’s just chef’s kiss.
