Professional basketball's Busan KCC halted Seoul SK's unstoppable winning streak and celebrated Ragan-ah's move to second place on the all-time scoring list.

KCC defeated SK 90-75 in the regular season of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association (KBA) on Nov. 11 at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan.

With its third straight win, fifth-ranked KCC improved to 16-12 and closed to within 1.5 games of fourth-ranked Changwon LG (19-12).

SK ended a 12-game winning streak dating back to Dec. 14 last year against Daegu KOGAS. At 22-9, second-place SK is now three games behind leader Wonju DB (25-6).

Ragan-ah and Heo-woong doubled up for KCC.

Ragan-ah scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for a double-double. She also dished out six assists.

With 10,901 career points, Lagana moved into sole possession of second place on the all-time scoring list, passing former SK player Aaron Haynes (10,878 points).

Seo Jang-hoon, with 13,231 career points, is the all-time leader among Korean and foreign players.

Although Ragan-ah was granted Korean citizenship through a special naturalization in 2018, the KBL classifies his record as a foreign player. As such, Ragan-ah is now the all-time leader in scoring for foreign players.

Heo Woong showed off his ace form with 22 points, including three 3-pointers.

Choi Jun-yong, who played for SK through the 2022-2023 season before joining KCC as a free agent, had 15 points, eight rebounds, and six assists for his hometown team.

SK felt the absence of ace Kim Sun-hyung keenly. Kim suffered a right ankle injury against LG on Sept. 9 and will be out for at least four weeks.

Jamil Warney led the way with 35 points and 10 rebounds and Ahn Young-joon had 16 points and eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough.

KCC took the lead in the first half.

A three-pointer by Heo Woong and back-to-back baskets by Heo Woong and Jung Chang-young sparked a 17-6 run, and KCC ended the first quarter with a 27-13 lead.

Heo Woong and Jeon Jun-beom hit back-to-back three-pointers at the start of the second quarter to extend the lead, but KCC responded with a three-pointer by Jeon Jun-beom and a fastbreak basket by Ragan-ah to end the half with a 48-36 lead.

KCC maintained a 10-point lead until the middle of the third quarter, but SK didn't go away easily.

It was Warney who led the charge for SK. Warney hit two 3-pointers and another free throw midway through the third quarter, and then hit a 3-pointer and a 2-pointer at the end of the quarter. SK pulled within 55-59.

However, Heo Woong's three-pointer on KCC's fast break opportunity with three seconds left in the third quarter gave KCC the momentum again, and the team slowly increased its lead with free throws at the start of the fourth quarter, and Ragan-ah's dunk and extra free throws on a fast break opportunity gave KCC the lead again, 75-62.

KCC extended its lead to 86-70 with 2:14 left in the game thanks to three-pointers from Lee Ho-hyun and Choi Jun-yong to seal the victory.

Meanwhile, the Korean Professional Basketball League will enter the All-Star break after this game. The Pro Basketball All-Star Game will be held at the Goyang Gymnasium on the 14th.
