I am very lazy to post recently and although I have done a few posts in the last year, it is over a year ago that I last posted on BEER!!

It is not that I have not been drinking any BEER as I still love my BEER, I am just lazy to post.

Recently my brother in law gave me some BEER. There were two beers, and I am posting on the one. This one is the Jolly Monk, Rauchbier as brewed by the Drayman's brewer, which is a small craft brewery situated in Pretoria, South Africa.

This BEER comes in a decent size one litter bottle, although this bottle is unfortunately a plastic bottle. The upside of this bottle, is that it comes with a screw cap and one can close the bottle again after opening to prevent the BEER from going flat.

I shared the BEER and there was still some left for me after filling both glasses.

I loved this BEER. This BEER is a Rauch BEER which means the malted barley used in producing this BEER is smoke dried over an open flame. That said this BEER did not have a strong smoke taste.

I loved this beer and will certainly drink it again, if my path crosses with this Jolly Monk again!
