Splinterlands Win Trading

By @royaleagle8/8/2024splinterlands

Over the last few months, we have had a few ongoing conversations in the Splinterlands Discord about win trading, do not play lists, and the competitive nature of ranked, tournaments, and brawls since the new Fair Play Policy took effect. I have gathered the outstanding questions that have been asked to be clarified by many different stakeholders of the game and I would like to present them for polling to see what our consensus is as a community. I have put up 5 polls to cover the major questions.

  1. When a player is matched against themselves in a ranked, brawl, or a tournament battle is it acceptable for them to put in a 1 summoner, 1 unit team to take a draw? The poll can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-104500/@royaleagle/win-trading-question-1-draws

  2. When a player is matched against themselves in a ranked, brawl, or tournament battle is it acceptable for them to try different teams? The poll can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-104500/@royaleagle/win-trading-question-2-different-team-submissions

  3. Should players be allowed to queue with 2 accounts at the same time that are within a rating spread that would allow them to match each other? The poll can be found here: https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@royaleagle/win-trading-question-3-players-with-2-accounts-in-que

  4. Who should be responsible for reviewing and taking action on win trade reports? The poll can be found here: https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@royaleagle/win-trading-question-4-who-should-review-win-trading-reports

  5. For the modern format what type of Do Not Play List would be acceptable? The poll can be found here: https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@royaleagle/win-trading-question-5-do-not-play-list

After 7 days I will review the results of the polls and work on a proposal to put up for community vote on how we should proceed so that everyone can be on the same page and know how the rules are interpreted.
