The 'Cuatro' is an autochthonous and traditional instrument from the country where I was born, Venezuela, characterized by its ability to generate percussion sounds and strumming; As its name indicates, it has four strings, and its tuning from the last to the first is: A, D, F# and B. The cuatro is generally used for folk music, a representative tool of the traditions of each region, going through the Andes and the plains, east and west, from north to south there is a great variety of genres, for example, between the best known: 'La Gaita', 'El Joropo' y 'El Calipso'.
