SourceGreetings, friends of Cinetv, this time I bring you a film that many people don't realize is so intelligent. Released in 1981, it won an Oscar for Best Makeup, was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film, and for the César Award for Best Picture and Best Director for Frenchman Jean-Jacques Annaud, who directed actor Ron Perlman, who years later would become the face of Hell boy. We're talking about the film Quest for Fire, a prehistoric film that shows the importance of fire for the survival of prehistoric tribes and how they fought for its possession. Throughout the film, we observe the evolution of language, weapons, and the development of hierarchies, roles, and social norms within the tribes, demonstrating values such as commitment and teamwork. It's a very good film, and I recommend watching it with the aim of learning more than entertainment. Although it doesn't feature any form of dialogue, it's understandable.
