Christmas is in the air, and it's so beautiful how everywhere is decorated with trees, flowers and lights that lit up the whole place, making it more colourful and radiant. It's no exception with movies solely made for Christmas and how every scene hits the perfect spot while watching.

I usually receive compliments like, "Oh wow, this is beautiful. You have eyes for good things. How much did you get it/those?" And when I tell them the price, they scream and say I've wasted money, you have been cheated and all those unpleasant words. But in the end, they come to appreciate how I've loved quality over quantity.

My siblings and I had a conference WhatsApp call recently with our uncle from our mother's side because this is a once-in-a-while thing. We spoke at length, and that was when we got to know that our grandmother is 100 years of age and still alive, though her eyes aren't in good shape. We were speechless at first; along the line, he complained to us how she (grandma) had been shouting and insisting on returning back to the village rather than being in the city with them. Who would take care of such a woman with bad sight unless she is brought under someone's care?

What season are we designing? It's Christmas season and a moment of Joy and celebration with the belief that Christ was born and came to die for our sins. We all know the true birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, and there's no way we won't talk about the Saviour on a season like this because it's all about Him.

This is my siblings and I very long time agoNow, you can see we are now grown up girls with our father 😉 the other two aren't in hereGrowing up, it was with my small family; my parents and 4 siblings even though my big sister was taken to stay with late grandma when she was 3 years old and did her schooling there - she almost couldn't recognise our parents again while my immediate younger sister was taken to live with one of our aunts who was living in Magodo estate in Lagos before she moved overseas.

I woke up this morning to the challenging news and information that all apartments in the building had been increased including my aunt's. This has made her feel troubled since then because she isn't working, and where does she get such an amount for her rent from when the initial rent was all contributed and supported for her yearly? It feels the whole responsibility is kind of overwhelming for her siblings. I and my siblings had to arrange her rent for this year and now, waking up to something like this feels worrying.
