Baan SuanHello everyone
Yesterday around noon, my wife and I traveled to another sub-district to attend the funeral of an elder relative. This trip was a new experience for me because normally, funerals of relatives are held at temples in my sub-district. However, this time, my relative informed me that the funeral would be held at Wat Tung Yai, a place I had never been to before. Therefore, before traveling, I had to rely on GPS navigation technology to ensure a smooth journey.
Before setting up the GPS and leaving, I took a moment to ask my relatives and neighbors in our neighborhood if anyone wanted to travel to Wat Tung Yai with me. I stopped by several houses of my relatives to ask, but it turned out that no one was available to travel with me. Only one relative left me an envelope of money for making merit. With the intention of attending the funeral and expressing condolences for the passing of our elder relative, my wife and I decided to travel to Wat Tung Yai with the GPS as our companion to guide us to our destination.
Traveling with GPS in an unfamiliar area is another interesting experience. Although the navigation system may sometimes be inaccurate, we were finally able to arrive at Wat Tung Yai and attend the mourning ceremony for our beloved elder relative.
