Hi everyone!Here are some figure drawings I did ; I am concentrating on the volume of the body in this session, trying to keep the parts consistent. I spend more time on the drawing below to set the values.Lighting is something I've often put aside lately to concentrate on gesture, because lighting is a bit easier for me, more intuitive than the dynamics or the 3D aspect of the drawing; but I realised in my art journey that this was a big mistake, because even with good lighting, a bad drawing in terms of volume still looks flat. So the work of volume and lighting are obviously complementary.

Included are people, glasses, cats,...I tried to draw cats, but I realised how difficult it is; I had never studied them before, so I had almost a child's level of observation lol And it is also really difficult because cats move a lot. Hi everyone!I come back with some study sheets. I like to study characters such like Donald Duck, Mickey, Bucks Bunny,.. because they are very well designed ; they are a lot of people who have been working on them, years after years, so it is really a reference. And you can see that they have a lot of details and complexity but keep very lisible and dynamic, which is a balance that is not that easy to have in character design.

Hi everyone! 😊I come back today with a little perspective exercise that I made - perspective is a really important part in drawing, and if I can say that I understand mostly of the theorie (excepted for how to draw a perfect cube and not a parralelipiped shape, it still remains a mystery for me), the practice is still a bit tough, as it asks to be very precise (and I'm used to do too little sketchs 😅) and that my oval shapes are a nightmare. But when I need to trace box shapes or this kind of things it's more easy.
