Esta tarde caminaba hacia un parque cercano de casa, cuando llegando al mismo y divisando el teatro municipal que está al lado del parque, recorde que la especialista de la galería me había invitado a una exposición el día de hoy a las dos de la tarde. Precisamente la Galería Municipal es una de las instituciones que tiene su espacio expositivo en las instalaciones del complejo cultural que abarca toda la zona del teatro y sus alrededores. Inmediatamente me dirigí hacia la Galería, que aún se encontraba abierta. Dentro estaban compartiendo de forma muy amena varios artistas, sus familiares, amigos y especialistas del sector cultural.
Algunos de los presentes ya me eran conocidos de actividades anteriores del movimiento cultural de esta ciudad de Bauta. Encontrarlos ahora en la inauguración de esta exposición de Ángel Silvestre me dió idea de cuanta Historia y vivencias han compartido juntos a lo largo de los años. Esta es la Galería Guerrero, el principal espacio expositivo del Municipio Bauta, en la provincia Artemisa de Cuba. Aquí es usual que los artistas compartan sus experiencias y alegrias. Fue muy agradable ver el ambiente de amistad que se sentía entre aquellas paredes adornadas con las obras de la excelente obra pictórica de Silvestre.
Miriam es la especialista de la galería. Fue su directora durante muchos años y es una persona muy sencilla y amante del trabajo cultural. Pude valorar su gran capacidad como intelectual cuando trabajamos juntos para mi exposición personal en esta sala.
La obra de Silvestre es muy genuina, podríamos decir que tiene el sabor de la comida cubana. Sus personajes, sus colores, los paisajes, todo es de un auténtico estilo cubano.
A Silvestre lo había visto antes, incluso precedido por su fama de buen artista, incluso creo que alguna vez nuestras obras coincidieron en alguna exposición colectiva en esta galería. Hoy tuve la fortuna de poder conocerlo más de cerca. Soy un admirador de su obra, que me parece muy madura y profesional también su ritmo de trabajo es admirable, tanto como las bellas mujeres que le gusta resaltar.
Poder compartir con Silvestre y manifestarle mi admiración por su obra fue el mayor placer de la tarde. Aunque conocí nuevos colegas como el pintor Adrián, es este artista con su exquisita imaginación y maestría del color quién nos recuerda que en Cuba la pintura sigue una tradición venida de otros países, pero hemos logrado que nuestros paisajes, mujeres y rios queden bellamente plasmados en un lienzo para la historia...

This afternoon I was walking towards a park near my house, when I arrived at the municipal theater next to the park, I remembered that the gallery specialist had invited me to an exhibition today at two o'clock in the afternoon. Precisely the Municipal Gallery is one of the institutions that has its exhibition space in the facilities of the cultural complex that covers the entire area of the theater and its surroundings. I immediately went to the Gallery, which was still open. Inside, several artists, their families, friends and specialists of the cultural sector were sharing in a very pleasant way.
Some of those present were already known to me from previous activities of the cultural movement of this city of Bauta. Meeting them now at the opening of this exhibition of Angel Silvestre gave me an idea of how much history and experiences they have shared together over the years. This is the Guerrero Gallery, the main exhibition space in the Bauta Municipality, in the Artemisa province of Cuba. Here it is usual for artists to share their experiences and joys. It was very pleasant to see the atmosphere of friendship that was felt within those walls adorned with the works of Silvestre's excellent pictorial work.
Miriam is the gallery's specialist. She was its director for many years and is a very simple person and a lover of cultural work. I was able to appreciate her great capacity as an intellectual when we worked together for my personal exhibition in this room.
Silvestre's work is very genuine, we could say that it has the flavor of Cuban food. His characters, his colors, the landscapes, everything is in an authentic Cuban style.
I had seen Silvestre before, even preceded by his fame as a good artist, I even believe that our works coincided at some time in a group exhibition in this gallery. Today I was fortunate to be able to meet him more closely. I am an admirer of his work, which I find very mature and professional, also his work rhythm is admirable, as much as the beautiful women he likes to highlight.
To be able to share with Silvestre and express my admiration for his work was the greatest pleasure of the afternoon. Although I met new colleagues like the painter Adrián, it is this artist with his exquisite imagination and mastery of color who reminds us that in Cuba painting follows a tradition that comes from other countries, but we have achieved that our landscapes, women and rivers are beautifully captured on a canvas for history...
