Create a competitive Foundation deck solely by playing and using SPLAT! #3

Okay, let's be honest, one article every day was definitely a bit too much. I couldn't keep up in terms of available time or in terms of compelling content to show you. But now it's time to take stock.

Status report after week 1

My collection has grown considerably, mainly thanks to two things. On the one hand, I reached Silver 1, much to my surprise, without having to level up my summoners too much. On the other hand, thanks to SPLAT purchases, which were very effective in obtaining better summoners and high-value cards.

Here is my collection as I speak to you now.

As you can see, I've gained two legendary items, but more importantly, most of my summoners are now level 2. I really thought it would be harder to get them, so this is a great surprise and allows me to continue my climb. I hope to reach gold by the end of next week, but I suspect that my level will start to progress much more slowly.

The release of the new edition initially slowed down the pace of purchases available on Splat, but in the end, there were some great deals, some quiet days, and some days with a huge number of cards. Here is a complete list of all the cards I bought through Splat.

As you can see, just under $2 worth of cards has been invested for almost $5 worth of market value—it's absolutely incredible!

Game experience

As I mentioned earlier, I was able to reach Silver 1 rank. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it at all, and it was a wonderful surprise—it allowed me to get a lot of cards.

What's more, at this rank, I feel like you don't encounter many bots. I guess they're just not competitive enough to reach this rank. Mechanically, you don't see them anymore.

This makes for a rather enjoyable gaming experience, and I must admit that with the return of the Silver 1 rules, I'm really enjoying playing.

Conclusion

So far, the experiment has been a real success. Splat brings me a lot of cards for a ridiculously low investment, which I can even resell to make a little money if I feel the need. I enjoy playing and hope to reach at least level 3 by the end of next week. See you soon, and thanks for reading.
