PeakD AutoVote - Never Miss a Vote for your Favorite Projects and Authors

AutoVote

Auto-voting on Hive isn't new -- tools like HiveVote have offered powerful auto-voting features for years. But many of our users told us they just want the basics without leaving PeakD.

So we built AutoVote right into the interface. Now you can configure autovotes directly from your favorite Hive frontend -- no external tools, no separate accounts, and no granting authority to yet another service. If you've already authorized PeakD for scheduled posts, you're good to go. AutoVote uses that same trusted posting authority, so there's nothing new to set up.

If there are creators you consistently want to support, AutoVote makes sure your vote is there every time they publish.

What It Does

AutoVote lets you create rules to automatically vote on new posts from specific accounts. It's straightforward -- pick an author, set your vote weight, and PeakD handles the rest.

Whether you earned or purchased your stake in the Hive ecosystem, it's yours to use -- and we want to make it easier for you to put it to work.

A Simpler Option

Many Hive users already know about HiveVote, which offers a full suite of auto-voting tools including curation trails, downvote trails, scheduled posts, and more. It's a great service and we'd encourage anyone who needs those advanced features to check it out.

But plenty of our users have told us they just want something simple -- a way to set a few auto-votes without leaving PeakD or learning a separate system. That's what this is. The basics, built right in.

When It's Useful

  • You're going on vacation and don't want your voting power sitting idle
  • There are projects or people you always support no matter what they post
  • You want to make sure your stake stays active even when life gets busy
  • You do plenty of manual voting but want a few reliable votes handled automatically

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to peakd.com/me/autovote
  2. Grant Authority -- One-time setup through HiveSigner (same posting authority PeakD uses for other features)
  3. Enable AutoVoting -- Toggle it on
  4. Add Rules -- Enter a username, set vote percentage, and optionally set daily/weekly limits

AutoVote Settings page

What You Can Configure

For each rule you can set:

  • Vote Percentage (1-100%)
  • Daily Limit -- cap how many times per day
  • Weekly Limit -- cap how many times per week
  • Enable/Disable -- toggle individual rules without deleting them

There's also a global Voting Power Threshold so AutoVote pauses if your VP drops below a level you're comfortable with.

Edit Rule modal

You can revoke PeakD's authority at any time from the same settings page.
