Today I had some work in an area I don't get to frequent as much as I would like, so I headed down early, got the job done and then spent the rest of the day photographing a few places and doing some location scouting.
While location scouting I came across a tiny bay that had about twenty Whistling Kites and various other birds of prey, plus some seagulls and pelicans. Had a great time photographing them!
I'm not really a wildlife photographer, I have the wrong gear for it (and can't afford the $24K+ lens required), but I do enjoy photographing wildlife and make do with the gear I've got at the moment.
Hope you enjoy these photos!
