A throwback to photographing Hamelin Bay back in January 2009, we were in Western Australia on holiday / scouting for potentially moving to WA... which we ended up doing only a few weeks later.I have found that things move very fast & fall into place when life/the universe/God deems it to be...

Today I had some work in an area I don't get to frequent as much as I would like, so I headed down early, got the job done and then spent the rest of the day photographing a few places and doing some location scouting.While location scouting I came across a tiny bay that had about twenty Whistling Kites and various other birds of prey, plus some seagulls and pelicans. Had a great time photographing them!
