Forward: Last year, I was on an illustration tangent for about 45 days during the holiday slowdown. As with many goals, I put forth a ridiculous amount of effort and got burned out shortly thereafter. This was one of my more interesting pieces (created in late December of last year) ~ two characters are wandering through a mountain pass on a rickety old model-T sled when they see a dreaded New Year approaching.

It’s time for another illustration perhapsThis is my second post in recent weeks, and while I try to never go by feelz, it seems strange to post again. I’ve been away for so very long. Part of me would like to be creative again… I haven’t made anything super creative for 2.5 years now, life-lemons and all… A rambling updateWell, finally funding is on the way for some home and yard improvement… I don’t know if I’m more relieved about having the crawl space encapsulated or looking forward to getting a chain saw and cutting away cedars along the fence line. The previous owners just didn’t take good care of the place…I’ve moved twice since 2019 and a good amount of my office items remained packed away - I’m working on getting everything set up again. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to make the crazy animations I used to, but something deep inside my tiny brains won’t let me rest until I’ve at least tried. An acorn bro

So anyway - an honest update…I feel as though life is very fragile and the whole world could unravel soon, but for now I’m ok, regardless of struggles to catch up to where I need to be. I’m dealing with some scumbag lawyers trying to access money that’s rightfully mine. My life is low key under threat due to living near a complete psychopath. But I can handle myself bro. May be time to get a huge dog to patrol my lands at night though… When each seconds count, the police are minutes away. Back to sketch modeIn conclusion Thanks for even reading this.
