Pointless gory psychopathic show. Boring.#GrownUpAnimeReviews

Terrible, mediocre show that does not make the slightest sense even after 9 episodes.The only good thing I can say about this show is the following quote (from a dialogue with a person who is about to kill himself, e09/15:17):

Pretty good open-ended adventure, despite some frivolousness. Resembles "Re: Zero", but better, without stupid checkpoint restarts or hyperbolic drama.It would have been much better adventure if not one thing that nearly spoiled it for me: half a minute or so of almost each episode is dedicated to "pervert factor" like obsession with underwear or groping, for no good reason, completely unnecessary, adding nothing to the story and just ruining the taste and style. Polluting the show with vulgarity is a disservice to audience. That problem aside the show is quite entertaining.

Dynamic visually-pleasant show about woefully unqualified schoolboy who got involved in battle among mages. Against all odds he survives again and again to use his unique ability in a final fight against the ultimate enemy who will defeat everybody else by then. Mages summon supernatural warriors (who are heroes of the past) to materialise from their "mana" (i.e. spiritual power) into physical world. Personalities of those warriors and their unique skills make their fights somewhat entertaining. The story remains interesting due to unpredictable plot turns that happen more than once. The story develops around friendship, teamwork tactics, loyalty, betrayal, trust and perseverance. Beliefs of main protagonist will be challenged making him question his goals. Will his ideas stand up to challenge or will they be shattered by reality? The show pleasantly surprised me with some philosophical content, although not deep enough to be entirely satisfying. Is it worth trying to save others if you can not save yourself?

Visually pretty crap show about kids' obsession with cyber-pets visible only with augmented-reality glasses. All characters are preoccupied with virtual upgrades and other business that have nothing to do with reality whatsoever. Disgusting "war-on-reality" type of show, meaningless to extreme.
