Although it wasn't long that the crew informed us, I had already suspected that our row was different. The windows on the left and right had covers that weren't like the rest, the floor lights led converged where we were, and the seats in front of us were subtly different. We were at one emergency exit window, and that helped me realize that the man next to me was being unreasonably a risk to our safety.

Exasperated and parched, I had to take a break and grab something to drink. A cold bottle of water would have been fine, but this particular drink I had never seen seemed very interesting. How I felt afterwards, I couldn't tell if it really was the drink or the words on it.

One thing worries me when I try to download e-books. There are usually different types and versions of the same book available, but that's exactly my issue. I had just one chapter left to read in Thinking for a Change, but I didn't have the book with me. One chapter... so I searched and downloaded the e-book. Guess what I found.

"Work less and achieve more," really? I wanted the book right when I saw that. Although I hadn't heard of Chris Bailey before, if he really was anything like my favorite productivity experts like Newport and Abdaal, I knew I was in for some treat. But there was only one way to find out.

For whatever reason, I thought it's usually cooler in the northern parts of Nigeria. That was so not my experience when I was traveling between Abuja, Nasarawa, and Benue in the north-central region. But the most interesting thing was my time on the Benue River.

"Are you happy with your life?" If someone asked me that question and then offered me a whole new world where I have everything I wanted and never had, it would be a tempting offer, really. But as the film series Dark Matter portrayed, it may not be exactly what I imagine it to be. And man, I sure missed watching shows about alternate realities.
