You're walking through the city and you come across those little blue fish swimming on the wall and then find them on the floor as if they were escaping from the sea 🌊 How brilliant! It's one of my favorite things about any city: finding murals.Finding art. And not to mention that imposing ship going up the stairs, it's as if all the seafaring history of Galicia came to life before our eyes! These street artists really have an incredible magic to transform any corner into a visual adventure. I love them! ✨⚓️

Walking through the city of Santiago, in Galicia, Mom and I took some lovely photos in the Praza do Obradoiro, which is in front of the great cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. It's a beautiful building, and we wanted to brighten up that rainy, cold day. In more than a year and a half of living in Spain, we haven't been able to travel much. This was a very short but meaningful trip, and we had a wonderful time every time we went out to explore the Galician hidden gems.

We're already past the first month of spring, and I confess I'm dying for summer to arrive. I don't know why, but last winter I suffered greatly from the cold, when in previous years I hadn't. I'm not a fan of the heat either. The ideal for me is a moderate temperature, but I'm so longing to wear only dresses, sandals, and light clothing, that I can't wait for June to arrive with its delicious warmth, and in good measure without getting scorched, hehe ☀️😂 And so far this season, the weather has given us this delightful day where the sun shone brightly, it was warm, and everything was spectacular for grabbing my walking sandals and heading to the beach 🤩 It was a nice surprise among these rainy, gray, and humid days that make your bones ache we're still having...

How beautiful are cherry trees! I love the color pink. I love trees. And seeing a tree with flowers this color brings me great joy. I am fascinated by nature; it is my greatest inspiration, and I always delight in it... I find it curious that the national tree of my country (Venezuela) is the araguaney, and it has yellow flowers. I lived in Argentina for 5 years, and there the jacaranda tree, which has violet flowers, is abundant. It is beautiful to think about the variety of colors that trees can come in, causing us so much amazement with their beauty 💛💜🩷 It simply makes me happy!

I'm glad to live in a city that, although very rainy and gray, small, and with a cultural and social agenda that doesn't compare to that of the country's capital, also has art on its walls with the beautiful variety of murals it presents. I've been sharing the beautiful murals in Vigo with you for almost two years. Last Holy Thursday, we traveled to Santiago de Compostela to explore the city and enjoy a unique day. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. We found a small restaurant with very good prices to enjoy a delicious lunch, and we were truly delighted.
