Second Chance: Mistakes I'd like to correct if given a second chance.

Hello, everyone.

designed on canva.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. They made us believe age is just a number, whereas it matters a lot. Age is just a number, but there are certain jobs you cannot apply for because there's an age restriction. In my country, one who is over 30 years old is not allowed to go for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Even before today, I have had so much thought about reducing my age and making good use of the opportunity given to me. While growing up, we all made mistakes; some were costly and are still hunting us to this day, while some were just mild and we didn't have to pay for the consequences. I made a mistake while growing up, and a second chance won't be bad.
If given the opportunity, I will reduce my age without even thinking twice, and this time around, I will not take any opportunity for granted unless I do not have my current knowledge, but if I do, I will make things right and better my life. They say things happen the way they do for a reason; the only thing to do is pray that whatever happens will be in our favor.
The first time I wrote jamb exams, my dad wanted me to apply to a school of his choosing, but I refused, and all I wanted was to go to a school of my choosing with a friend. At the end of the day, with my good JAMB score, the school did not offer me admission. I had to stay at home for another year while my friends advanced; now they are ahead of me. If only I could turn the hands of time, then I'd apply for admission at the school my dad wanted me to, and maybe things would have been better.
I'd also love to go back to years ago, when the cost of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies was not so expensive. I'd work more on investment for the betterment of my future. Back then, I had no idea about it, and even if I had been told, I might have taken it for granted because I saw everything as a scam back then. But with the knowledge I have gained so far, being given a second chance means a lot to me.
I'd also reduce my age because age is a criteria for getting a good-paying job after school. After school, I would like to maybe join the military, but with the strike and everything that puts academic activities on hold, I have come to realize that I am aging, and soon my age will exceed the age limit for that. In order to achieve this, I either have to reduce my age or forget about it, but if given an option, reducing my age is the best option.
Years ago, I wanted to be a drummer, but I had friends who never wanted to participate in church. I enrolled in drum classes, and after I told them about it, they started making mockery of me. Instead of me focusing on achieving my goals, I gave up and stopped attending practice, I started skipping practice to play football. Today,  I wish I never made that mistake, and if given another opportunity, I won't take it for granted.
Thanks for reading my post.
