Zum Jahresabschluss wollte ich noch einmal einen Blogeintrag posten. Hier gibt es also einen Update über mein Leben aus den letzten 2 Monaten neben den Urlaubsposts. Am 20.12. war ich mit 2 Freunden und meinem Bruder bei einem Konzert im Skaters Palace in Münster. Es war ein Oldschool Rap Konzert mit mehreren Künstlern aus den USA. Hier sind der Flyer für die Veranstaltung und einige Eindrücke von dem Konzert:

Directly after my trip to Austin, I won a journey to Bratislava in Slovakia. I won my entry into a poker tournament (550€) and my nights at a hotel were covered. I took the plane from Paderborn to Munich and from there to Vienna. A short bus ride from there took me to Bratislava!

This will be my last post about my journey to Austin. Today, we had tickets for a concert by one of my favorite bands. I saw them this year in Germany as well: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard! Before the concert, I grabbed lunch at Arbor Food Park. I enjoyed the great weather with a Mexican Coke, a shrimp cocktail, ceviche taco and a fish taco.

In this post I will update you with some great restaurants and more impressions of this amazing city! Let us start with a restaurant this time. We went to Nixta Taqueria for an early dinner. I basically tried all the tacos on their menu. It was an interesting restaurant where it looked like you were actually sitting in a private garden. The food was so yummy!

For this day, we went for a trip to San Antonio. It was a sunny day and we met some more friends. After walking for a little bit, we went for lunch to a small bar.After this stop, we went to the river walk in San Antonio. It was the perfect day to enjoy the scenery and a few drinks. We had a big trip planned for this day. We wanted to visit Wurstfest at New Braunfels! I did not know what to expect at this festival. On our way to New Braunfels, we stopped at Buckee’s first.Buckee’s is like its own world! After this stop, we directly went to the Wurstfest. It was way bigger than I ever expected. Several stages and bands playing, food, beer and people partying! It was way better than I expected as well!
