One mantra I’ve had in my life for as long as I can remember is to not expect anything from anyone or put my hopes in others. Because you’d end up being disappointed or worse when you shouldn’t. They say no man is an island and obviously, we all want to do this life thing with others.

In todays digital world, it’s safe to say most people don’t read anymore. Aside reading to write exams or for an interview, that’s it for most people. But when it comes to scrolling on their screens, they’re in 24/7. There’s this saying where they say that if you want to hide something from a black man, put it in a book. That’s the reality of almost half of our population today.

I somehow seem to be seeing crazy movies a lot these days. A few days ago, I stumbled on this movie and decided to watch it. Little did I know I’d be grossed out to the core and stop watching it half way. But somehow, I stumbled on another series and this series is one that has been able to spark my curiosity and keep me glued till the very end for days.

Charity they say begin at home and there’s no denying that. Right from birth, we learn first hand from our homes and where we grew up taking our first steps. And most at times our words and actions tend to reflect how we were brought up.

Since they gave birth to us, person never rest. As a child , you’re being put in school against your will but yeah, they say say it’s for your future. Being a student can be a hassle sometimes. Having to go to class, study and juggle everything at the same time for almost half of your life.

We all have heard the word emotional intelligence but I’d like to believe most of us don’t comprehend the whole concept so allow me to enlighten you. Basically, emotional intelligence is having the ability to comprehend, control and use your emotions the right way. Now the question is, how many of us manage and use our emotions the right way?
