Regardless, we all try to make sure we are healthy. However, in some cases, much more than just drugs are needed. Some people are born with no sight or even heart issues.A close friend of mine got operated on around 2018 for hole in heart and the sad part of all this is, she’s had this for her whole life. When she was born, the doctors told her mom she had asthma and this friend of mine spent about 18 years of her life using inhalers, thinking she was asthmatic.

Growing up, I always used to have petty quarrels with my mom. I flat out thought she hated me but I later on came to realize I was problem. I hit puberty and suddenly felt the urge to rebel. I would literally get mad even if I did wrong and my mom spoke about it. So this one time , I visited my grandmother cos I claimed my mom was getting on my nerves and the funny thing, while I was sitting with my grandmother talking, I asked her if my mom was my real mom and she shouldn’t lie to me.

I’ve had so many people tell me that in todays world women have an upper hand over men. In a way, it is very true because since the issue of everyone or should I say women advocating for gender equality, things have changed a lot. Today, people even believe women more than men in some instances. Imagine a woman going to the police to report a rape case. Even if it is a lie, the man involved would face the charges and in most cases, these man are not even given the opportunity to speak their truth.

In today’s technological era, everyone is always buried in their phones, laptops and other gadgets. I bet we’ve all had that situation where something happened and our moms especially relate it to the fact that you’re always on your phone. I remember having malaria one time and my mom went like, ‘how won’t you have malaria when you’re always on your phone’. And I’m like really?
