I recently saw a movie where the whole plot was about the world suffering from an air borne disease and funny enough, the main character seem to someway somehow take in a potion that changes her genetic make up making her genes the right ones to create a cure for the entire world. The end of the day, she decided give out her body to be used for tests so she could save the whole world. But hey, that’s just a movie. If we should come into our real world setting today, how many people would do that for the good of the world at large.

I’m that person that would read every little detail on anything I buy. In Ghana, there have been so many cases of people buying expired food or faulty gadgets out there and most at times, they don’t get to return them as most shops have a no return policy. Just a while back,a friend of mine called to tell me she went to get soap from a supermarket only to find out it was expired. I honestly didn’t know soap expired.😂 But since it had an expiry date on it showing it had expired, I told her to check a different shop.

Everyday, I thank God for the kind of family he made me grow up with because I don’t know what I would have done without them. As stubborn as I was and still am, it’s a surprise I actually turned out this way. I used to be that kid who would do exactly what you asked her not to do. I was unstoppable at everything.

Life is simple, but also has its own complications. From the time I was born till today, I would say I have seen a lot in this life. A lot has changed and is still changing both in a good way and a bad way. But what matters most when it comes to every individual and life in general is how you adapt to this change.

Where I come from, there are lot of things that don’t work and so in general we say the system doesn’t work. Aside the fact that our roads aren’t good, we also don’t have portable drinking water, our educational system is a mess, we don’t even have constant power supply anymore and even basic needs are a problem for the average Ghanaian. With all these things causing hardships to the people of the country, there are so many things we don’t even have time to pay attention to.
