The Atacama Desert is one of the driest place on the planet. This photo was taken in the region where the desert meets the ocean, near the city of Antofagasta. Note that there are no signs of vegetation or life in the area. The image was captured with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp. I show the color and a black and white version.

During this June 1st is time to take part Hive Power Up Day ( #HPUD) of April. This is the 53rd time that I take part in the HPUD in a continuously manner, without interruptions, as it can be seen in my beloved collection of “little bees”. I would like to point out that last May was an important month for me in Hive, since I reached 8 years of live in the blockchain of Hive, as it can be seen in the badges at the end of this post.

In this new post of my series about the street art of Antofagasta, I share a painting done on a wall of a house. It shows a face of a man, very peculiar for its purple color and its deep and fixed gaze that seems that to be watching you.
