In this post, I share some photos in black and white of a variety of mangoes that I saw in the supermarket. These fruits come from Peru. I like to take photo of fruits, I find them an interesting subject to photograph. The images were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp.

In my series of posts about the street art of the Chilean city of Antofagasta, I share some photos of a beautiful mural. As you can see, it depicts a rabbit (or hare?) with its baby. The portrait of the animal is painted with a lot of details, and the neighboring space is filled with vivid colors. I also show part of the surrounding murals and the space around the painting.

In some parks of the Chilean city of Antofagasta, there are old cranes from the port. They were put there for decorative purposes. In one of them, the sun is “between its legs” (as seen in the images) only during a few days around the December solstice (summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere ). For taking these photos, it was used the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20, and they were post-processed in Gimp.
