In my series of posts about the street art of the Chilean city of Antofagasta, I share some photos of a beautiful mural. As you can see, it depicts a rabbit (or hare?) with its baby. The portrait of the animal is painted with a lot of details, and the neighboring space is filled with vivid colors. I also show part of the surrounding murals and the space around the painting.

In some parks of the Chilean city of Antofagasta, there are old cranes from the port. They were put there for decorative purposes. In one of them, the sun is “between its legs” (as seen in the images) only during a few days around the December solstice (summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere ). For taking these photos, it was used the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20, and they were post-processed in Gimp.

The photo was taken with a camera Sony A7 equipped with a lens Sony FE 24-240mm F3.5-6.3 OSS, it is shown in three different chromatic versions: natural colors, selective desaturation of different color channels, and black and white. The edition was done in Gimp.
