In this new entry in my traditional series of posts about the street art of the Antofagasta (Chile). I show photographs of two consecutive murals but with very different styles. The first is a very realistic portrait of a woman and a dog, next to some dream-like images; whereas the second painting is much more abstract and childish, having interesting lettering style.

The optical prisms are fascinating objects due to the effects caused by the decomposition of the light. This decomposition, shown in the photographs of this post, was produced when the sun light went through an aquarium in a particular angle. The multicolor light illuminated part of my mineral collection, an important piece, is quartz crystals shown in the images.

These photos show a view of Antofagasta. This city of the north of Chile is located in a strip between the ocean and the mountains. In the foreground of the photo we can see the cove in low tide, so that many rocks are uncovered by the water, which are used by marine birds to find food. The reflections of the surrounding buildings can be observed on quiet waters of the coved.

This photo was taken at the Caracas (Venezuela) city center in the archway located in the area known as “El Silencio”. It shows a broom street seller. This job was quite common in the past, however nowadays is not so common.
