Hurray! We're on a long weekend vacation mode. During the holy week, we used to stay inside the house as it was passed by the family tradition that we need to stay put as we are commemorating Jesus' death.
When Easter Sunday comes, my family decided to have a great travel and adventure to a place we have never been visited. Whoopeee! And off we went to Hide-away Beach Resort! We are on the move to have more fun and exciting family time. A summer getaway that is pretty amazing and full of exploration.
In this blog, I'm going to share my family's adventure and exploration of the amazing Hide-away Beach Resort that will surely hide away all worries and stress.
How to get there?
From our residence in Tabogon, it takes 45 minutes in reaching there with the aid of a private vehicle.
From Cebu City, ride a bus heading to the Northern part of Cebu. Approximately it is a 4-hour journey depending on the traffic along the way. In Bogo, City ride a tricycle from the tricycle station and it will take you to Odlot, Bogo. The end barangay of this city.
The Amenities
Another thing that I like about this beach resort is the affordable entrance. For adults, it's only 50 pesos, for children it's 30 pesos, and for kids below 6 years old is free. It is unlimited fun.
The rentals for their cottages depend on the sizes. These are the smaller cottages which cater to a maximum of 4 persons and they are worth 300 pesos.
The bigger cottages which cater to 10 - 20 people are 800 pesos.
They also have rooms for rent. There are 1,500 pesos per night suitable for 2 persons and the family room costs 3,500 pesos per night and caters maximum of 8 persons.
For billiards lovers, they offer a billiard hall for them. It is made from local materials that made it cooler and more inviting. Folks will surely love this especially when they are addicted to this game.
The resort also has a restaurant in case we are hungry. It has a bigger space and the prices of their menus are not that costly.
The Evergreen
We already heard about this resort's uniqueness from others. It has no shoreline compared to others. However, the green scenery already lured us as we were about to enter. We were welcomed by the chirping of the birds, and the soothing effects of the huge trees around give a cool and amazing ambiance to the people who are in vacation mode here. We never regret visiting this place.
The spacious parking area is surrounded by huge trees. Everything here is splendid, this resort is eco-friendly, safe, and free from pollutants.
The landscape
The dramatic scene of the ground is quite relaxing. The hammocks attached to the trees are captivating as they will lead us to complete relaxation. Taking sit on the lounge chairs, and at the same time looking at the breathtaking view of the sea is one of the reasons why it is usually visited by the locals. The overlooking view is one of a kind.
After enjoying the fantastic view of the sea, and feeling the sea breeze, taking a dip in the cold seawater can be a good idea. This is the entryway. Extra care is highly needed because going down the stairway can be dangerous, especially for the oldies.
These stairways on the opposite side are the exit. They are attached to the wall and we still need to be careful in going up to avoid accidents. The rocks below are very sharp and will surely hurt us badly.
The steps to the radiant sea
A wonderful feeling is waving as we go down using these stairways. Facing nearer the sea, the warmth of the sun that touches one's skin and the relaxing noise of the splashing seawater are incredible as we reached the thrilling part of the resort. The solid stairs will bridge us to a magnificent experience that will be cherished in this beach resort.
As we moved down, I felt ecstatic watching the exquisite pool-like area that my kids can fully enjoy. Our extensive journey is worth it, after all. We felt chilly despite the risk of danger because of the enchanting beauty of the resort.
Amusement at the peak
Since the resort is situated at the top part, it cannot be denied that there is danger, however, being mindful of every action will stay us away from any untoward accidents. Still, an indescribable feeling was felt inside looking at the alluring beauty of this beach resort.
People who love diving will surely be captivated by this resort. It is good for diving and taking a plunge into the cold seawater will be a great stress reliever. I love watching my husband diving and having fun. Others were also enjoying themselves as they leaped happily.
The happiness within
The resort doesn't just give total pleasure, it also gives full enchantment as we were able to bond once again. The spotless water, the fresh sea breeze, and the splendid view are truly incredible.
Nothing can equal the feeling of a mother seeing her child happy and contented. This resort is not as astonishing as the others but my family's experience here is priceless and astounding. The true essence of being happy is not measured by money but by whom you spend with and by whom you celebrated with. This exploration in the north is truly spectacular.
