It was an excellent opportunity to see friends again and feel the unique atmosphere that only a festival like this can have.

Even some families celebrate as if it were Christmas. Yesterday I went to Póvoa and, to my surprise, there was a big Valentine's Day celebration in the streets. I had no idea that the city would be so involved in the party, with hearts, lights and lots of romance in the air. Despite knowing that Valentine's Day is celebrated in Portugal, I didn't expect to see it so alive and present on the streets of Póvoa. I was curious, is this data celebrated in other countries in a similar way? And do you usually celebrate Valentine's Day in any special way?

The park has a unique atmosphere, full of nature and areas to relax. During the day, you can walk through its beautiful gardens, enjoying the calm of the place. The trees are tall and give a feeling of freshness. There are fountains around that make the environment even more pleasant. The paths are well maintained and make walking easy. The place is perfect to spend some time in peace, away from the city's improvements. The park is right in the center of the city, but the moment we enter the park gate it feels like we are far from a city as busy as Madrid

The other rooms had different exhibitions. Each one was interesting and showed something new. The palace, with its beautiful architecture, helped to give even more life to the exhibitions. The "Letters from Colon" exhibition was the one that caught my attention the most, but the others are also no longer good.

I was impressed by the letters on display, which lead us to reflect on colonial times and relationships at that time. It is fascinating to see how communication was done, whether in personal or official correspondence, and how these words carried so much meaning and power. The exhibition allows us to understand a little better the political and social proposals of the past, while at the same time making us think about the legacy that these stories left. Without a doubt, it is an experience worth knowing for anyone interested in history and culture.
