@mariannewest The care you receive while sick and in a hospital will determine if you make it back home. My cousin was in our local hospital for a week. He has Parkinsons and they told his wife he was in stage 5 and near the end, they told her they would recommend Hospice for him. They also said he had Dementia because he was not talking or acting like himself, it was the infection. Instead of taking him home, she took him to a bigger hospital where they are treating him for an infection in his body and his sugar is high. After two days in the other hospital, he is now back to normal and knows who people are.
Now, it is not my jurisdiction to say anything but I told his sister what he told me. This was when he was delerious so I do not know how much he really remembers but he told me the people at the other hospital are mean. I asked why he said that and he told me a large women took him into a room and locked the door. I did not understand what he was saying she wanted him to do but he did not want to do it. He said next a man came into the room and got right in his face. My cousin takes his hand and open and closes it like someone talking and won't shut up. He then told me the man would not get out of his face so he tried to punch him but missed. I asked what happened next and he says he did not know and he does not remember getting out of that room. I told him they probably knocked his ass out. He laughed and said maybe.
The weather finally calmed down and warmed a tad so my husband fished today. He caught 23 pounds of pompano so he had a good day and hopefully he saved a frog's life, multiple times.
He said he did not see the frog on his boat until he was on the river. He anchored on the north bar and when he reeled his last rod in to leave, he saw the frog had jumped overboard. He got the anchor up and dipped the frog with his net.
He anchored at Long Point and saw the frog had jumped over again, he had to reel all his rodas in so he could save the little guy. He re-anchored and the frog jumped over again, this time he stuck his rog tip out and the frog hopped on it. He said he guessed the frog decided the boat was better than the water because it did not jump overboard anymore.
