Telling lies is not just a lifestyle, it becomes more than attitude when one learns to cover up what the real situation or outcome of an event or occurrence is. It is a big responsibility to tell lies. Come to think of it, one would have to street his or her brain to design an unreal situation to make it real. It is a lot of brain work to tell lies.
From the medieval period, human existence has hung on one sacrifice or the other. Till now, the evolution of advancement in the human space called the earth has been from the sacrifice made by a person or a group of people. The spike in the number of people who have been diagnosed of different kinds of cancer is worrisome and as such when the cure is found in any thing, be it plant or animal, sacrifice should be made to keep the human species going.
It is medicine after death to come out to the public with a video, apologizing after one must have been robbed with the mud of scandal. For me, if the accuser accepts in a video to have acted foolishly of greedily or for whatever reason, he or she just gave me a nudge to seek redress legally.
Before I left on Sunday morning, we all bid ourselves farewell with hugs and hand waves but just a few steps to my vehicle, I saw tears running down the cheek of my lovely daughter, Ada. She made me feel so emotional that I could not turn on the ignition of the car. I stood by the car door, waiting for her to be calm before driving off.
Social media is no doubt the revolution of our time. Looking closely, one would see that there is a war currently going on in social media. It is called the information war. In this century, people have found social media as the channel where prompt information of the moment is fetched.
Life is way better now than what it was when I was single. Marriage drew me away from toxic friends who made me waste resources and keep late nights. Each time I remember how wasteful I was before meeting my wife, it tears me apart that I would have done a lot of reasonable things earlier in life but the friends I kept in that phase of my life made me do the darndest things.
