If I look back and try to remember who my pillars have been this past year, the only names that come up are those of my children, Victoria and Armando, because they have not only been my companions, but also my true motivation to never give up.
The reality of my last year can be summed up as constant movement and the three-person team of my children and me. As we've moved from state to state and adapted to new cities, they've been my only companions on this journey, there for every move and every new beginning. My days are spent between work and sitting down with them to help them with schoolwork. Although I haven't seen my father or brother in years, my family network is far away; we've grown accustomed to being independent.
We've done everything together. Sometimes the confinement gets to us, and they ask for a change of scenery or to see a different environment, which is understandable when your world is confined to the same walls. At the end of the day, the reality is that there's no one else; it's just the three of us. My children are wonderful, and even though we're on this journey alone, with them by my side, it's impossible for me to feel lonely.

Muéstranos fotos de la persona con la que más compartiste este último año, la que estuvo a tu lado en las buenas y en las malas. Cuéntanos un poco sobre esa persona especial.
Si miro atrás y busco quiénes han sido mis pilares este último año, los únicos nombres que aparecen son los de mis hijos, Victoria y Armando porque ellos no solo han sido mis compañeros, sino mi verdadera motivación para no rendirme nunca.
La realidad de mi último año se resume en movimiento constante y en el equipo de tres que formamos mis hijos y yo. Mientras hemos ido saltando de un estado a otro y adaptándonos a nuevas ciudades, ellos han sido mis únicos compañeros de ruta, los que han estado ahí en cada mudanza y en cada nuevo comienzo. Mi día a día se va entre el trabajo y sentarme con ellos a ayudarlos con la escuela. Aunque llevo años sin ver a mi padre o a mi hermano mi red familiar está lejos, nos hemos acostumbrado a valernos por nosotros mismos.
Hemos hecho de todo juntos, a veces el encierro pesa y ellos mismos piden un cambio de aire o ver un ambiente diferente, algo lógico cuando tu mundo se reduce a las mismas paredes.
Al final del día, la realidad es que no hay nadie más solo nos tenemos a nosotros tres.
Mis hijos son maravillosos y, aunque estemos solos en el camino, con ellos a mi lado es imposible sentirme sola.
Todavía no se los e dicho pero pronto tendremos que mudarnos nuevamente 😀✌️
