"Damn the torpedoes - full STEEM ahead." I love meeting new people learning new things - all a part of enjoying life!!
I was sitting at a cafe when a child that looked like a 5 year old said, “What the …….”. She paused, then looked around her. Her parents and some people nearby laughed. Clearly they thought it was cute. The child was cute but not her language. She was confident and precocious. It seemed as though the child had done this before and received the same reaction - so she looked around eagerly anticipating the reaction she would receive in public.
I think many people are familiar with the expression, When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.A friend recently remarked, “I made lemonade but it tasted so sour - I couldn’t drink it.” We both laughed and it lightened her mood a bit. Making the most/best of a difficult situation is often easier said than done. I agreed but tried to be encouraging.
I woke early in the morning and could enjoy the sight of the freshly fallen snow. It covered everywhere - looking white and fluffy. It was a sight to behold. I was happy and silently hoped for more snow. It does not snow often here and when it does it melts quite fast.
Trees are beautiful. They are a reminder that nature is simply amazing and awesome. Trees stand majestically wherever they are - whilst adding beauty to any space they are placed in. They are often strongly anchored in Mother Earth and show off their beauty against the sky.
Time waits for no one. It moves stealthily, silently but purposefully. It is a force that seems to guide life. In the end, time is never wasted if it is enjoyed. I always say - Life is time - hence one must be mindful of who we spend our time with. Big Ben - London, England
This is the season for all things nice. I believe most people love this season. I certainly do. I appreciate the time spent with friends but most of all relaxing at home with my family. I appreciate not only the festivities but also the changing weather. source - courtesy of @friendlymoose
