It was there that I experienced the best phase of my life, where things were simpler and I believe people were happier and more sociable. Who remembers? Playing in the streets, friends always around, family together and little time wasted on social networks. Cell phones were not yet the enemy of real socialization.
Oh yes! Cell phones already existed, they were still a novelty, and at that time technology was already supporting us. Of course, it wasn't as popular as it is today, but we weren't living in the “technology cave” era either. Everything was just right, without so many technological distractions. We gave more importance to people, to conversations, to sitting down somewhere to talk or even to flirt with some girls. Riding bikes and playing soccer was a sacred daily ritual, fishing with friends, camping or even playing a bit of video games. It was so cool, everything was still a bit fuzzy, without much definition, but it was incredible. Nowadays it's almost perfect, and they still make mistakes! How is that possible?
To relive that era would be truly incredible. Imagine if people now left their homes in the late afternoon to chat, didn't give so much importance to social networks and cell phones, and stopped watching series to talk to their friends in person on the street. A little gossip here, a little gossip there, an invitation to eat a cake and have a coffee. Look at where we are now, look at how incredible that era was, and now all we can do is reminisce and talk about how good it was!
Well, that's what I would relive: an old experience, but one that would be totally new for the way we live today. I'm sure that every single person who lived through that time remembers it very well, and I'm sure it was the best time of their lives. All the best stories were set in that interval. How did we get to this point? We have almost none of that anymore. We're more and more reclusive in our own homes, stuck on screens and talking to our fingers. Stuck at home, unsociable, letting the good stories be lost or, worse still, never found.
Imagine being able to really live in a time when many people were happy, without comparisons, without needing to consume in order to fool themselves with the happiness of consumption. Just people and time, without screens, free and living. It's a shame that this has been lost. If I could relive an era, that would be my choice. And perhaps, if we knew what the future would be like, we'd be more concerned with living in the present and noticing how simple things do us so much good, and we'd be more careful about where we attach importance.

Era tão legal, tudo ainda um pouco quadriculado, sem muita definição, mas era algo incrível. Nos dias de hoje está quase perfeito, e ainda colocam defeitos! Como isso é possível?
Reviver essa época seria algo realmente incrível. Imagine se as pessoas agora saíssem de suas casas no final da tarde para conversar, não dessem tanta importância para redes sociais e celulares, e parassem um pouco de ver seriados para conversar pessoalmente com seus amigos na rua. Uma fofoca aqui, outra ali, um convite para comer um bolo e tomar um café. Veja bem como estamos, veja como essa era era incrível, e agora só nos resta lembrar e contar como foi bom!
