Enjoy the evening with a glass of simple Herbal Drink.

14 hours of fasting for a full day and it lasted for 30 days with undiminished activities and unpredictable weather for now caused my body to start protesting a little with a slightly tired feeling and a bloated stomach. However, even so, fasting is very healthy for the body so there is no reason not to fast for me. Even so, I have to be clever so that the intake of food and drink that enters the body remains controlled and healthy for me.


After breaking the fast then continued with the main dinner I decided to make herbal drinks not only for drinks but also for health. This time I made the drink with ginger, lemongrass and pandan leaves which have the same benefits, namely to control blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol and anti-inflammatory and reduce joint pain. I often make this drink and I grow the ingredients in my yard so I don't have to buy them.


For all types of ingredients needed in this recipe I will write below:

**1. 50 grams of ginger**
2. 5 pandan leaves (choose old and dark green pandan leaves.)
3. 5 stalks of lemongrass
4. 500 milliliters of water
5. A little palm sugar less than 50 grams (I don't want my drink to have a sweet taste but also not bland, so if in this recipe you want a slightly sweet drink you can correct the taste by adding more palm sugar.)


Now let's see how this delicious herbal drink can warm our stomachs.

1. Wash all the ingredients starting from the pandan leaves first. Make sure they are really clean, especially in the folds, then cut them into several pieces and put them in a pan
2. Likewise with the lemongrass that I have washed, I crush it until the aroma comes out, then I tie it in a knot and put it in a pan
3. Next, I peel the ginger and puree it with a blender and add water to it. The purpose of this ginger is blended so that the resulting drink has a slightly strong spicy taste. However, if you don't want a taste that is too strong, you can cut the ginger thinly that has been crushed first.
4. After it is finished blending, put the blended results into the same pan as the lemongrass and pandan.
5. After that, don't forget to add the palm sugar.
6. The next step is to cook over medium heat until boiling and immediately turn off the heat. Don't let it boil for too long.
7. After that, let it warm up, then strain it and you can enjoy this herbal drink to accompany you at night after breaking your fast.
