La cuarta semana del concurso Hive's Top Model ha concluido, dejándome nuevos aprendizajes y, por supuesto, muchas fotografías geniales. Hasta el momento había estado acostumbrada a fotografiar comida y a construir conceptos para mis fotografías de alimentos. Ahora, gracias al concurso, puedo decir que esa pequeña "visión fotográfica" se ha expandido un poco porque siento que comienzo a tener la capacidad de crear conceptos fotográficos en donde ahora soy yo la protagonista.
Les confieso que siempre había tenido esas ganas de armar un espacio fotográfico, maquillarme, colocarme un outfit bonito y hacer una pequeña sesión fotográfica. Lo cierto es que nunca me había atrevido a hacerlo porque no tenía una motivación demasiado real y porque la mayoría de las veces no tenía a alguien que me ayudara con algunas tomas. Ahora que tengo la oportunidad de realizar esto me siento más que contenta por poder cumplir ese pequeño deseo que ocultaba mi mentecita desde hace tanto tiempo.
Para este segundo mes del concurso la temática selecciona ha sido Glam y para el reto fotográfico mi concepto se basó en la moda old glam de los años 40's a 60's. En mi mente, mi concepto se visualizaba bastante vintage y yo me visualizaba como una señora glamurosa de la alta sociedad (ja, ja, ja). El maquillaje y estilismo para este reto simplemente me encantó, ¡estaba realmente fascinada con todo aquello! Me sentí bonita, empoderada y...vintage. Hoy les comparto algunas selfies de ese día y algunas fotografías que me gustaron pero que quedaron descartadas de las cinco fotografías oficiales que debía de incluir en mi participación.
Debo de agradecerle de todo corazón a Made, quién fue la responsable de ayudarme a trasladar este concepto desde mi mente a lo real.
The fourth week of the Hive's Top Model contest has concluded, leaving me with new learnings and, of course, lots of great photographs. Up until now I had been used to photographing food and building concepts for my food photography. Now, thanks to the contest, I can say that this little "photographic vision" has expanded a bit because I feel that I am beginning to have the ability to create photographic concepts where I am now the protagonist.
I confess that I had always wanted to set up a photographic space, put on my make-up, put on a nice outfit and do a little photo shoot. The truth is that I had never dared to do it because I didn't have a real motivation and because most of the time I didn't have someone to help me with some shots. Now that I have the opportunity to do this I feel more than happy to be able to fulfill that little desire that I had been hiding in my little mind for so long.
For this second month of the contest the theme selected has been Glam and for the photo challenge my concept was based on the old glam fashion from the 40's to 60's. In my mind, my concept was visualized quite vintage and I visualized myself as a glamorous high society lady (ha, ha, ha). The makeup and styling for this challenge I simply loved, I was really fascinated with it all! I felt beautiful, empowered and...vintage. Today I share with you some selfies of that day and some pictures that I liked but were left out of the five official pictures that I had to include in my participation.
I have to thank Made, who was responsible for helping me to transfer this concept from my mind to the real thing.
