A pleasant day today! Hello everyone, I'm here again!
I just want to share this wonderful moment with my family.
Another great chance for our family to get out and enjoy ourselves with our kids and cousins.
We visited Cebu Ocean Park since we had been planning to go for a while but never got around to it due of the high entrance cost and the distance from our home in the province.
We came from the airport since we dropped off our sibling and drove straight here.
This is near SM Seaside in Cebu City, but a little away from the main road. It's preferable if you have your own car because getting here is difficult if you're commuting; otherwise, hire a taxi.
So we headed to the ticket desk and lined up; the entrance cost is Php 700 to Php 900.00, with discounts for PWD and senior people.
By the way, I was unable to upload the images at the entry since my cellphone, which stored a lot of shots, was broken. Thank goodness my sibling shot a lot of photos.
After paying the entrance fee, we went through the first gate heading inside, where we noticed a shark maskot, and we took a family photo before entering together with the maskot.
By the way, they also have their own photographers inside who will take your pictures, which will be saved in their computer. You can have them in hardcopy, but expect to pay Php400 or more depending on how many photos you want from the photographers.

We were instantly impressed since we were greeted by a variety of fish ranging from little to enormous, as well as birds on both sides of the trail we were following.
When we got inside, we discovered that the interior is surrounded by big tanks filled with various types of fish and has different sizes. Each tank has a name tag on it. They put the scientific name and the English version of it.
Aside from the fish, there are also aquatic animals here such as various kinds of snakes, different types of reptiles like geckos, iguanas, turtles, and many more. I also saw that they have a variety of spiders and other creatures.
We were all overjoyed, especially the kids, because we rarely encounter these unusual animals and insects.
This trip was so incredibly fun since we saw the fish from the films Finding Dory and Finding Nemo. HAHA
So we kept walking till we arrived at the main and largest aquarium, which fully surrounded us and showed so many fish swimming above. Wow, there are sharks and stingrays here!
We discovered that we could go inside the aquarium and walk underwater while wearing oxygen masks, but we chose not to do so due to the expensive cost and the fact that we had children with us. So we just watched and snapped photos.
It feels fantastic to be able to enjoy yourself often despite all of the tasks at home and work; it's also beneficial to get out on occasion to relieve pressure.
and we continued walking, and my feet were starting to hurt because this place is really vast. It's like walking on the tracks of an extremely long train.
Up ahead, there is a large area that looks like a swimming pool but is filled with fish, including milkfish, stingrays, and other types of fish. You can also go in and feed the fish, but there is a fee.
We saw some bleachers, and I sat down since my feet hurt. My siblings and I got separated and ended up in different places since there were so many photo opportunities, so some of us got left behind. But we're all going in the same direction, so we'll still meet at the end LOL.
We were thrilled, especially with the sting rays, who appear to smile when you view their faces. 😆
So we kept trekking till we came across a big huge crocodile with a sign saying no climbing. It's terrifying, especially his eyes. There is also a large tube above the crocodile's enclosure, where the person feeding it will most likely perch. We waited for the crocodile to move because it was our first time seeing one up close and personal.
It turns out that people can feed the crocodiles here, but there is a price and a time restriction to be followed.
So we continued, stopping first at a store selling food and ice cream. So, we ate first because we were hungry after strolling.
Over there, they offer a fish foot spa where the fish eat the dead skin on your feet for Php 100.00, I believe, for approximately 15-30 minutes.
While we were eating, we waited for the bird show to begin, but before we could get there, we returned to the other very long pathway that led to the large restaurant with a giant aquarium on the side, which also near the the tanks housed the jellyfish and penguins.
We were amazed by the stunning ambiance. You can go on a date with your lover, and the surroundings is really pleasant.
They already have reasonably priced cuisine available for ordering. But we'd already had our snack, so we headed for the jellyfish and penguins.
We enjoyed getting to see the penguins in person because, being in the Philippines, there is no snow, therefore there are no penguins. (KIDDING ASIDE).😄
Many people come here, and you can feed them for PHP 700.00, including pictures.
Wow, they are adorable, especially as they walk and reach for the small fish that they eat. I'm not sure, but I believe it must be really cold inside the penguins' habitat, which appears to feature snow-like decorations.
On the other side, there's an aquarium with jellyfish and other lighting to make it more visually appealing.
afterwards , we head back to the the spot where the bird show will be held.
They actually have an escalator, so you won't have a hard time getting up to the area with a lot of birds to snap pictures of.
On the other hand, we'll shortly arrive at the venue for the Bird Show. When we arrived, there were already plenty of people, compared to the previous time that we went there, when there were none because it was a scheduled activity.
And their show has begun. After a while, they welcomed the birds, who took to the skies. Birds can be seen in groups or individuals.
They also displayed a variety of enormous and rare birds, with staff hired to guide them about so the audience could see them up close. These are just delightful.
And soon after the personnel gave them a tour, they began the show. These folks are quite intelligent, and they demonstrated techniques such as shooting a little ball into a ring, and there was even one who sorted trash. And they also trained them to say words with foot and wings gestures.
After the show, we left, and there were souvenirs available at the departure area, but they were pricey. We stepped outside to the parking lot and decided to go home.
This trip was so amazing and we really had fun.
Cebu Ocean Park is located within SM Seaside Complex, specifically across from SM Seaside City Cebu, in Mambaling, Cebu City, Philippines.
I hope you didn't get tired of reading; I'll have more to give next time. Thank you very much for reading and visiting me. 😍😘
