Cuando llegamos a Curitiba apenas estaba pasando el invierno, el clima era tan frío que era insoportable y al no estar acostumbrados fue aún más difícil para nosotros. En ese entonces compramos una cobija mientras tanto pero teníamos en nuestra lista de pendientes comprar un edredón para cuando llegara el frío nuevamente y luego con la llegada del verano ni siquiera pensábamos en hacer esta compra, al menos no por el momento.
Esta semana nos decidimos finalmente a comprar el edredón que queríamos, pues, aunque aun no llega la temporada fría es mejor adquirirlo con tiempo y no descuidarnos con eso, así que ayer, al salir del trabajo decidimos ir al centro comercial Jockey Plaza para visitar la tienda Pernambucanas, una tienda de la que ya les he hablado antes y que nos encantó desde la primera vez que fuimos, donde había visto hace tiempo edredones y cobijas, por lo que sin duda fue mi primera opción cuando pensé en comprar.
When we arrived in Curitiba, winter was just passing, and the weather was so cold it was unbearable, and not being used to it made it even harder for us. At the time, we bought a blanket in the meantime, but we had a to-do list for a duvet for when the cold weather arrived again, and then with the arrival of summer, we weren't even thinking about making this purchase, at least not yet.
This week, we finally decided to buy the duvet we wanted. Although the cold season hasn't arrived yet, it's better to buy it ahead of time and not be careless about it. So yesterday, after work, we decided to go to the Jockey Plaza shopping center to visit the Pernambucanasstore. I've told you about it before and we loved it from the first time we went. I'd seen duvets and blankets there a while ago, so it was definitely my first choice when I thought about buying one.
Llegamos al centro comercial y fuimos directamente hasta la tienda, fuimos al área de hogar y tenían gran variedad de cobijas, edredones y juegos de sábanas, todos muy lindos y a muy buen precio. Por un momento me vi tentada en comprar un juego de sabanas pero quise darle la prioridad al edredon que lo necesitaba más. Lo buento fue que nos atendió una señora a la cual le pedimos asesoría sobre los edredones y nos ayudó a hacer nuestra compra, mostrándonos todo lo que habia disponible y permitiéndonos incluso abrir y tocar todo a nuestro gusto.
We arrived at the mall and went straight to the store. We went to the home section, and they had a wide variety of blankets, comforters, and sheet sets, all very nice and at a very good price. For a moment, I was tempted to buy a sheet set, but I decided to prioritize the comforter, which I needed the most. The best thing was that a woman helped us. We asked her for advice on comforters, and she helped us make our purchase, showing us everything available and even allowing us to open and touch everything to our liking.
Yo buscaba un edredón de color negro para que combinara con las sábanas pero lamentablemente no tenían en este color y como no quería irme con las manos vacías tuvimos que elegir uno que nos gustara aunque no fuera del color que buscaba. De tamaño matrimonial solo habían 2 modelos de edredones y entre ellos escogimos uno que nos gustó a ambos, de color gris con azul marino que era el que más se asemejaba a lo que yo quería y que además tiene un diseño diferente de cada lado.
I was looking for a black duvet to match the sheets, but unfortunately, they didn't have it in that color. Since I didn't want to leave empty-handed, we had to choose one we liked, even if it wasn't the color I was looking for. There were only two duvet models available in the double size, and we chose one we both liked: a gray with navy blue color that was the closest to what I wanted and also had a different design on each side.
La señora que nos atendió nos mostró el edredón y lo extendió en la cama de muestra para que pudiéramos apreciarlo mejor. La tela es suave y tiene un grosor adecuado, ni tan fino ni tan grueso, nos pareció perfecto. Está compuesto por 60% algodón y 40% poliester y sus medidas son 2.10m X 2.40m, bastante amplio para cubrir toda la cama y cubrirnos bien del frío ambos.
The lady who helped us showed us the duvet and laid it out on the sample bed so we could appreciate it better. The fabric is soft and has the right thickness, neither too thin nor too thick; it seemed perfect to us. It's made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester and measures 2.10m x 2.40m, large enough to cover the entire bed and keep us both warm.
El edredón tuvo un valor de R$ 209 (35.95$ aproximadamente) un precio bastante accesible además de adecuado al artículo y su calidad. Anoche al llegar a casa le dimos el primer uso aprovechando que el clima estaba frío por la lluvia y fue bastante cómodo para dormir y lo mejor de todo es que no sentí frío en toda la noche, lo que me confirma que fue una excelente compra y que ahora si estamos preparados para la llegada del invierno con nuestro nuevo edredón.
