Hello, dearest Hivers! It's me again, the one and only @mariajasmin š¤! In this blog, I'm going to share the trip we had with my boyfriend in Mandaue. It was definitely a long trip , but truly fulfilling, filled with happiness, and we are beyond grateful.

The night before our trip, we were already planning everything , even though I hadn't asked permission from my parents yet, HAHAHA. Oh, stubborn? Well just a little bit, kidding aside! I always ask permission before I leave. That night I was waiting for my father's call until my mother said he had already called my sibling's phone š. Luckily, he called early the next day, so, I finally asked for permission, and they agreed. Yeyy!

Fast forward, we were already waiting for the bus to arrive. We expected we wouldn't wait too long because we had seen lots of buses heading to the city when we got to the town. But we were wrongāwe waited for almost 30 minutes, I guess, before the bus arrived. Definitely, we shouldn't expect too much , HAHA āļø.

A few minutes into the bus ride, I started laying my head on him to avoid dizziness and prevent myself from vomiting. I had to be extra careful because the trip was long. I encouraged myself to overcome this challenge , since I want to buy a car someday, but can't even handle riding in one because of these feelings. Argghhhh š!

The bus wasn't full , which is why we were able to sit. Since the area was a bit spacious, I was able to lay my head on my boyfriend , rest my back on the seat, and also put my feet in the cornerāit felt like being at home š«£.

After a few hours, we had finally arrived in Mandaue and began walking towards the store where Nino's sister works , since we were going to get her things. When we arrived, his sister was busy , so we decided to have lunchāit was already 12 o'clock anyway.

Not too long after that , we went back to the store and waited for the things we were going to bring. Since there were lots of things , Nino's sister helped us carry them towards the highway. She also let us get in the taxi before she left.

We finally headed to the terminal, and some people helped us carry the things and put them inside the bus. Then, we went inside and waited for the driver. After a few minutes , the bus finally started moving. During these kinds of scenarios,āespecially when riding busesāI don't like to eat or drink because I feel like I'll just vomit if I do. However, on this trip , my mood was okay, though not perfect, and I felt really thirsty. Even though I usually avoid eating or drinking in these situations, I asked NiƱo to buy something to drink when we arrived in Carmen, and he got buko juice and some food.
I was feeling better then, and I was so happy that I was able to have chikas with NiƱo, which proves that I was okay while we were riding the bus. He even said, "What a miracle that you didn't vomit and seemed to be enjoying the trip" š. That's because I tend to just sleep whenever I ride the bus, HAHAHA.
See? I vomited when we went to Compostelaāwhich was only a two to threeāhour tripābut didn't vomit when we rode to Mandaue and then all the way home, almost 7 hours total. I think it really just depends on my body or if I'm in a good position while riding. As you may remember from my previous blog, we stood on the bus for the whole trip then, which was different from our trip to Mandaue.
