**Position Title**: Lead Programmer **Location**: Globally remote **Schedule**: 3 days minimum per week **Compensation**: Proportional to experience **Start Date**: Immediately
Experience
- Web application programming including production-ready testing.
- Integrating JavaScript APIs into web application features.
- Intermediate expertise in blockchain.
- Beginner or above expertise in Steem blockchain (must learn going forward).
- Intermediate expertise in the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) for web hosting.
- Intermediate expertise communicating through Telegram & Discord applications.
Skills
- Advanced web application programming skills in the below languages.
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Node JS, Vue JS, Quasar Framework
- JavaScript Web APIs
- Git for code version control
- Yarn package manager
- Proficient in reading wireframes and converting descriptive features and process into open-source code.
- Documenting code throughout the programming process.
- Proficient English writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Requirements
- Requires all the necessary programming position’s equipment and services downloaded and prepared to complete assigned tasks upon start.
- Requires communication and work availability as need, but totaling 36 hours per week minimum until online platform launch plus three weeks after for additional maintenance.
Tasks
- Convert page-by-page wire-framing into HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc. code in Knowpedia GitHub repository.
- Convert descriptive features into functioning features using Quasar Framework and Steem JS API.
- Fully test key features and functions for production ready launch.
- Push code to GitHub
- Onboard open-source web application onto Steem blockchain.
