Hey Actifitters, Just like the forecast predicted, yesterday was another hot day. Maybe not as bad as the previous one, but even more humid. Not surprising T-storms were also in the forecast. So anyways, Le Chat's usual attitude summed up the mood pretty well:

Hey Actifitters, It started the day before, but the first real summer heat really hit us yesterday, in the low 90s F (about 33C). Again I know it's nothing for some of you living in hot climates, but for us, it's hot! Especially so suddenly. Even Le Chat was lazier than usual!

Hey Actifitters, After a pretty active week end, we were once again back in the work week routine yesterday. Le Chat was of course doing as less as possible.We had a few hot days a couple weeks ago, but the first real summer temperatures are here this week unfortunately. Well, for many people, it might not feel that hot, but we had freeze warnings just last week! So anyways, we waited in the yard for the sun and temperature to drop a little.

Hey Actifitters, Before deciding what to do yesterday, we first relaxed in the yard again with the furry sisters.I really didn't want to, but I made the reasonable decision and finished the yard work I couldn't complete the day before. The yard is now all mowed and good for at least a couple of weeks! However, that made us a bit late for my original plan to maybe go to Kensington Metropark. Instead we decided to go to Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve. It's just a 10 minutes drive and it's a good change from our usual forest. Kaia was excited to walk in a different place for once.

Hey Actifitters, To finish the month, we didn't have anything special planned, except some dreaded yard work. But we had other priorities first, like playing in the yard with Kaia. She's still as goofy as ever!Le Chat simply observed. This might look like a disapprobation look, but like I said in the past, I think it's more a 'why does she keep moving for no reason?...' look.

Hey Hivers, happy Hive Power Up Day!For once I'm not too late, it's barely after Midnight in my time zone, we just started June. But all these months that I skipped posting my HPUD update, I noticed the obvious: if I don't do it right away, procrastination takes over... And that is exactly what happens last month, with the post sitting in my drafts waiting to be finished for days, then weeks, and it was just too late. Anyways, let's get to the details of yet another successful Power Up Month and Power Up Day.
