Fue una relación tan bella que a pesar de la separación no quedaron resentimientos ni malos recuerdos, por eso el amor continúa. Y. cada mañana, al despertar y no encontrar a su lado a la persona amada, como una forma de aminorar el dolor, quien cuenta la historia decide imaginarse que no vivió esa relación sino que la soñó, que en la mañana al despertar lo que hace es recordar ese sueño, el más bello sueño que haya tenido jamás, un sueño maravilloso que “se tiene una vez cada mil noches y se ha de recordar toda la vida como algo que pasó y nunca se olvida”.
Muchas historias de amor han sido fracturadas por una separación cuando uno de los dos debe irse lejos. Esto lo han vivido en carne propia todos los pueblos en los que se han producido las diásporas, esas migraciones forzosas e indeseables. Ojalá todas las historias bonitas de amor no tengan que verse fracturadas por una separación y que puedan experimentarse no como un sueño que no se olvida sino como un sueño hecho realidad.

Guided by this week's theme, I bring you the song “Our love story” that was recorded in 1973 by vocalist Claudia from Colombia and was very successful in our country. It is a song whose lyrics are very interesting since it talks about a dream of love, but unlike other songs in which the person who experiences unrequited love dreams of the moment when the loved one begins to love them too, this song It is about a real love story that was lived but ended with a separation. One of the two “goes far away without knowing if will return.” Why? Circumstances of life.

It was such a beautiful relationship that despite the separation there were no resentments or bad memories, that's why love continues. And every morning, when he wakes up and does not find the loved one at his side, as a way to lessen the pain, the person telling the story decides to imagine that he did not live that relationship but rather dreamed it, that in the morning when he wakes up what he does is remember that dream, the most beautiful dream he has ever had, a wonderful dream that “you have once in a thousand nights and you have to remember your whole life as something that happened and you will never forget.”
