Aba Hive MeetUp: A Monumental Achievement!

2025-04-02T23:29:30
History was made and memories created yesterday, April 1st, 2025 at the Aba Hive MeetUp, which was held at our very own Hive /#SpendHBD powered supermarket, Happy Customer Supermarket, situated at 208, Azikiwe Road, Aba, Nigeria. The meetup was a way of fostering community engagement,
It was an exciting, inspiring, motivating, educative, informative and value added event, which featured presentations, interactive session, photorama, and light refreshment, the most important one, lol.
First was the presentation and I was privileged to handle the topic "Consistency: The Hardest But Most Useful Approach To Success."
I started by saying that although consistency is hard to achieve, but it is a crucial element that can help one to make progress and achieve success in various areas of life - be it business, work, skill, studies, and on Hive too.
I shared my personal story, demonstrating how consistency has been one of the key elements to my growth and achievements on Hive, and even in my work life.
I also cited examples of notable Hivians like Taskmaster4450, Khal, Josedicus, Collinz, Bradleyarrow and others, who have attained great success due to their unwavering consistency on the platform.
I pointed out that Bradleyarrow often takes pride in highlighting his consistency on Hive in his posts, always pointing out how he's been actively engaging on Hive every day, ever since he joined, even on difficult personal days. His commitment on the blockchain and consistency level are worth emulating.
I highlighted the importance of consistency, outlining some of its benefits, including habit development, building confidence, fostering discipline, goal achievement, etc.
To achieve consistency, I recommended setting clear and achievable goals, creating a schedule, starting small, tracking progress, and celebrating milestones, whether major or minor.
Rounding off, I reiterated that consistency is a skill that develops over time with practice and patience, and encouraged all to employ it in their Hive endeavors and other areas of their lives too.
More presentation boarded on building a solid X profile for Hive and our individual posts' promotions, joining strong and viable projects on Hive and Microblogging on the blockchain, which were handled by @focusnow and @focusnow respectively.

My biggest takeaway from listening to them were that by identifying with good projects on Hive, adding value to the projects, being exceptional and creating a niche for my contents, including onboarding new users would definitely help me achieve more successful growth on Hive, and at the same time smile to the banks - or rather wallet. Lol.
On micro blogging, one can commit to sharing contents - short messages, photos, etc, on Inleo Threads, Ecency Waves, and on PeakD, if they feel overwhelmed by creating long form contents. By so doing, they're being active, consistent, adding value to the blockchain and helping to make Hive strong. Not only that, the daily residual income earned can amount to wealth over time. You know the little drops of water that eventually fill the bucket with time.
In the course of the interactive session, some Hivians shared their personal experiences, stories and successful tips, which were inspiring and helpful. There were some who equally shared the challenges and problems they've faced since onbording, and thankfully, solutions were provided and concerns addressed.
It was truly a great gathering of Hivians from my city, Aba and outside, Uyo precisely. It was nice to see and reconnect with some of them again and equally forge new connections too. The meaningful conversations, beautiful and handsome faces, warm smiles and laughter added more color to the day.

With @ladyfoth, @ladyfoth and @ladyfoth

I was impressed by the huge turnout of Hive friends. That clearly shows that we're all committed to building a strong Hive community in Aba, from where we can collectively promote Hive and SpendHBD project to other parts of the country.
I got my Hive customized T-shirt, cup, exercise book and SpendHBD Face cap.

If I say that I enjoyed the day, it would be an understatement, I had the time of my life. 😅 I look forward to the next meetup.
Enjoy the photos and video shorts.

Someone said that I look smashing. What do you think!? 🥰

I made a new little friend. @goodysam come and see 😂
