Hospital Discharge, Miracles and further challenges ahead

2025-03-27T07:33:36
Dad finally can be home!
Just like most of the time, general hospitals (private even) will make us wait.
And this time is of no exception as well.

not rushing, just enjoying the hospital view
Knowing that because the specialist is really busy. Issuing a letter of discharge and new referral to another specialist General hospital for urology is not easy. A lot of patience is needed.

But as usual, sometimes the older you get, the more impatient you become

Like a kid.
With so many hospitalisation and discharge experience. It takes about 5 hours from medication disperse, doctors report, and recommendation letter (if any) to be issued, not to mention the wait were EVERYONE , yes I am not exaggerating, everyone checks out almost the same time from all different departments.
Which actually does take time, probably around 40 discharges.
But nevertheless, I am already grateful that the hospital managed to nurse my dad almost to 90% of health, with the catheter still in tact because of the root cause was UTI + fluoroscopy accident, the medical team is not confident that this is the end of the problem

To top it into a conclusion, there was a MIRACLE

The whole bill was MYR35 , LESS THAN 10HBD ($10 USD)

And yes, I did promise that I will list out how that has ended my dad fighting for his life

But I think listing it as simple as possible will be the easiest for you to understand, and if you are curious, you can comment further, and we can discuss further.

How it all started

Fluoroscopy procedure
➡️ Unstopped bleeding at the p3nis (trauma wound)
➡️ 12 hours later, went into septic shock in ER
➡️ vomit
➡️ BP crashed
➡️ ER Yellow room with high fever
➡️ X-ray found Aspiration Pneumonia
➡️ found blood infection
➡️ led to finding UTI (the root) that bacteria infection to the blood of the wound in the p3nis

So there you go, the simplified sequence. He could have died from the septic shock and infection, but apparently, God still need him to stay back a little longer.
But obviously, like a big kid, he gets grouchy easier these days. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I pray I will be granted good health and not turn into a grouchy person when I start to journey the sunset path. 😅

Until Then

Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
