Did more practice sketches as usual, more female bodies and I included mermaids this time. Drawing straight female bodies are becoming quite easy so I decided to draw some with more serious poses and arms raised in different angles. For rhe mermaids, I focused more on their tails because drawing the upper bodies weren't that difficult.

The fluffy clouds sitting beautifully in the sky while the grasses sway gently in the breeze, I always look at nature and so many thoughts cross my mind. Clouds and grasses never touch but they always look good together without any effort. Nature is perfect.....

My daily drawing post for today is coming late, I had a really busy day but I'm glad I was able to make time for it. Her hair is as messy as my day was, I did the sketch first before going ahead to shade the entire area of the drawing, I made the lines thicker and drew her facial features. I drew her choker, added more volume to her hair and erased the parts that served as the highlights, i love how this one turned out.....

It's a new weeek!! I spent a good part of my Sunday searching for references I will use for the whole week and it's getting a bit harder now especially on Pinterest. AI generated images are everywhere now, I have absolutely nothing against it, they are cool and here to stay, I just wsh we could filter them because it's better to practice with real images.

I'm sharing another drawing of a girl with red flowers on her hair. Drawing voluminous hair can be stressful and time consuming for me especially curls like this one, I spent so much time drawing the individual curls and also did some light hatching to make it appear darker. I almost gave up at some point lol, I started having doubts and second guessing every move I made especially for her hair but I just had to remind myself that this isn't about perfection so I'm really glad it turned out great, hope you're having a lovely day....

Hi hope your weekend started well!!Bird are so fun and not so hard to draw, I love that they appear in many pages on my sketchbook considering how I used to avoid them because they seemed difficult to draw, practicing consistently really helps. Well, I decided to try using black ink with this style and it's so cool too, I just have to figure out how to make hairstyles look better.
