It's a new weeek!! I spent a good part of my Sunday searching for references I will use for the whole week and it's getting a bit harder now especially on Pinterest. AI generated images are everywhere now, I have absolutely nothing against it, they are cool and here to stay, I just wsh we could filter them because it's better to practice with real images.

I'm sharing another drawing of a girl with red flowers on her hair. Drawing voluminous hair can be stressful and time consuming for me especially curls like this one, I spent so much time drawing the individual curls and also did some light hatching to make it appear darker. I almost gave up at some point lol, I started having doubts and second guessing every move I made especially for her hair but I just had to remind myself that this isn't about perfection so I'm really glad it turned out great, hope you're having a lovely day....

Hi hope your weekend started well!!Bird are so fun and not so hard to draw, I love that they appear in many pages on my sketchbook considering how I used to avoid them because they seemed difficult to draw, practicing consistently really helps. Well, I decided to try using black ink with this style and it's so cool too, I just have to figure out how to make hairstyles look better.

It's a new sketchbook but I'm bringing back my sketchbook Journal series, I wanted the first page to look really good and it does. I've always thought of adding more or doing more to make my drawing look better so I checked out some of my favourite artists on YouTube to see what I love about their works that I can incorporate into mine. Josh art is one artist I admire his style, especially how he shades so I tried it out with red ink and I'm so happy I did, I cant stop staring at this page.

I got a sketchbook specifically for random sketches, mostly for practicing the things I'm bad at like figure drawing, shading/hatching, animals and many other things I'd love to explore. Anyway, I realized the legs on this figures are way too long, longer than I expected so I'll make them shorter and tailored to my style even though I don't think I have an art style for now, I'm still having fun, exploring and figuring things out. Besides, an art style can only be built with consistency and I haven't really been that consistent to come up with something tangible, but until then, I'll keep exploring and enjoying the process....

I did a digital face study today, my goal for this was to practice blending and try out the available brushes. I was able to pick out my favorite brushes, from blending to texture, I also checked out some pore brushes too. For this painting, I started with a sketch as always before moving to pick all the colors I needed for the skin.
