One of the things that depends almost on luck when planning a trip is the weather. Every time my friend and I plan a trip, we do it almost a month in advance, and even though we sometimes look at the weather records from previous times, if it rains on those days, there is nothing we can do against it. that. But luckily, so far all the trips we've taken have had good weather, even much better than we expected. That was exactly how it was when it was time to walk around Bariloche in the province of Río Negro: we had a few days of great weather ahead of us, perfect for taking advantage of them outdoors ❤️.
Una de las cosas que dependen casi de la suerte a la hora de programar un viaje es el clima. Todas las veces que mi amiga y yo planificamos un paseo lo hacemos con casi un mes de anticipación, y por más que a veces veamos los registros del clima en épocas anteriores, si justo en esos días toca lluvia, no hay nada que podamos hacer contra eso. Pero afortunadamente, hasta ahora todos los viajes que hicimos tuvieron buen clima, incluso mucho mejor del que esperábamos. Justo así fue cuando llegó el momento de pasear por Bariloche en la provincia de Río Negro: teníamos por delante unos días de clima genial, perfecto para aprovecharlos al aire libre ❤️.
Since I had already been to Bariloche on previous occasions, this time I decided that I wanted to go to other places that I had not visited before. To the most beautiful and emblematic points of Bariloche such as the Circuito Chico, Panoramic Point, Cerro Catedral, Hotel Llao Llao and etc., I already knew them, so it was better to go elsewhere. As this city is quite developed, there is a public transport network that takes you where you want to go, so you only have to choose the place and with a cheap ticket, you are already there without having to hire a private excursion 😃.
Como yo ya había estado en Bariloche en ocasiones anteriores, esta vez me propuse que quería ir a otros lugares que no haya visitado antes. A los puntos más hermosos y emblemáticos de Bariloche como el Circuito Chico, Punto Panorámico, Cerro Catedral, Hotel Llao Llao y etc, ya los conocí, así que fue mejor ir hacia otro lado. Como esta ciudad está bastante desarrollada, existe una red de transportes públicos que te llevan a donde querés ir, así que solo hay que elegir el lugar y con un boleto barato, ya estas allá sin necesidad de contratar una excursión privada 😃.
Since neither my friend nor I had gone to Gutiérrez Lake, we decided that this would be a good walk on our second day of the trip. To get there, public transportation cost us only 150 ARS (less than 0.5 USD). That may seem very cheap, but this rate is almost triple what we pay in the city of Buenos Aires. Seeing it from the point of view that for that little money in just half an hour we moved to a beautiful place, there was nothing to complain about. The bus left us on the road and to get to the lake we had to walk about 1 km on a street where autumn was already quite noticeable 😃.
Como ni mi amiga ni yo habíamos ido hasta el Lago Gutiérrez, decidimos que este iba a ser un buen paseo en nuestro segundo día del viaje. Para llegar allá el transporte público nos costó solo 150 ARS (menos de 0,5 USD). Eso puede parecer muy económico, pero esta tarifa es casi el triple de lo que pagamos en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Viéndolo desde el punto de vista de que por esa poca plata en solo media hora nos trasladamos a un lugar hermoso, no había de qué quejarse. El colectivo nos dejó sobre la ruta y para llegar al lago había que caminar algo de 1 km en una calle en donde el otoño ya se hacía notar bastante 😀.
As it happens in several places in Argentina, the surroundings of the beautiful lakes have become private property, but there are still some parts where the slopes are public and can be accessed without having to pay anything. After a while we found an access to the water and from there we could see the lake in its total immensity. What we were seeing is the typical Bariloche postcard: a blue lake, surrounding vegetation and imposing mountains. Of course, at any time of the year that is not winter, because otherwise everything would be covered in snow 💕.
Como pasa en varios lugares de Argentina, los alrededores de los lagos hermosos se han convertido en propiedades privadas, pero aún existen algunas partes en las que las bajadas son públicas y se puede acceder sin tener que pagar nada. Después de un rato encontramos un acceso al agua y desde allí pudimos ver el lago en su total inmensidad. Lo que estábamos viendo es la típica postal de Bariloche: un lago azul, vegetación alrededor y montañas imponentes. Claro, en cualquier momento del año que no sea invierno, porque sino estaría todo cubierto de nieve 💕.
The day was perfect because despite the cold it was there was plenty of sun and we weren't the only ones who were taking advantage of it. There were several people drinking mate and having lunch and many others practicing kayaking. Kayaking is one of the most traditional activities in the lakes of southern Argentina: I believe that due to its ease in these calm waters, they are attractive for adults and children. Even though these lakes are not very deep, every time they ask me to go kayaking I think about it a lot because I am afraid of not knowing how to swim and just thinking about the possibility of falling into the icy water scares me 😅.
El día estaba ideal porque a pesar del frío que hacía había bastante sol y no éramos las únicas que lo estábamos aprovechando. Habían varias personas tomando mate y almorzando y otras tantas practicando kayak. El kayak es una de las actividades más tradicionales en los lagos del sur de Argentina: yo creo que por su facilidad en estas aguas tranquilas resultan atractivas para adultos y niños. Si bien estos lagos no tienen gran profundidad, cada vez que me proponen hacer kayak lo pienso mucho porque me da miedo no saber nadar y con solo pensar en la posibilidad de caerme en el agua helada me asusto 😅.
But not only humans were enjoying the sun, there were also four-legged friends. I always say that puppies that enjoy the water are the happiest: this little blonde seemed not to care that the water was frozen because he went swimming as if nothing had happened. He was also quite friendly: he accompanied us the whole time we were walking along the coast, as if waiting for us to give him something to eat, but unfortunately he only waited because we had nothing to give him 😂.
Pero no solo los humanos estaban disfrutando el sol, también habían amigos de cuatro patas. Siempre digo que los perritos que disfrutan del agua son los más felices: a este pequeño rubio parecía no importarle que el agua estuviera congelada porque se metía a nadar como si nada pasara. También era bastante amigable: nos acompañó todo el rato que estuvimos paseando por la costa, como esperando que le demos algo de comer, pero lamentablemente solo lo esperó porque no teníamos nada para darle 😂.
Walking a little further on, there were signs indicating that this beach has a lifeguard service in the summer. It is also noteworthy that there was a good internet signal and that there was a large supermarket down the road from the bus, so the whole plan should be to bring your own snacks or buy them there to spend a good afternoon. Despite the frozen water, which doesn't change its temperature that much even in January, many people go swimming and cool off a bit, so I'm glad that this safe place exists to do it 😃.
Caminando un poco más adelante habían carteles indicativos de que esta playa en el verano cuenta con servicio de guardavidas. También es destacable que había buena señal de internet y que en la bajada del colectivo en la ruta había un supermercado grande, así que el plan completo debe ser llevar tus propios refrigerios o comprarlos allí para pasar una buena tarde. A pesar del agua congelada, que no cambia tanto su temperatura ni siquiera en Enero, mucha gente se mete a nadar y refrescarse un poco, así que me alegro de que exista este lugar seguro para hacerlo 😃.
Going to spend the day on the shore of Lake Gutiérrez in Bariloche is a great walk and at a cheap price if you want to get away from the city center a bit. The buses that take you there have several services a day, so you can go early and come back at the last minute. This place was very quiet so if you want to relax a bit it is also suitable: who could not relax and enjoy a landscape as beautiful as this? Totally recommended ❣️.
Ir a pasar el día en la costa del Lago Gutiérrez en Bariloche es un gran paseo y a precio económico si gustas alejarte un poco del centro de la ciudad. Los colectivos que te llevan hasta allá tienen varios servicios al día, por lo que podes ir temprano y volver a última hora. Este lugar era muy tranquilo así que si querés despejarte un poco también es adecuado: ¿quién no podría relajarse y disfrutar de un paisaje tan hermoso como este? Totalmente recomendable ❣️.
