Hello Hive Learners Community, Happy Sunday to every member of the community. Today, I decided to hop on the Creative Sunday Initiative challenge and this is my first time participating.
I have a lot of things to share and this Sunday will be about beautifying a candle stand. When I was a kid, we used lanterns and candles a lot but the invention of rechargeable lamps and the large adoption of solar in society today has reduced how much we depend on lanterns and kerosene lamps.
Despite the changes that have happened over the years, A lot of us still burn the candle once in a while because sometimes we just run out of options and choose the old ways.
I don't use candles often because of an experience I had some years ago but I do once in a while now and I am always very careful with it.
Before I just placed my candle on anything as long as it's not plastic but after the experience, I choose to use bottle or steel as a career. The bottle is my favourite because it's easier to just get rid of the candle wax away from the bottle.
So in this post, I shared how to make a bottle candle stand look beautiful. It won't be bad to make it look attractive with a little design.
Materials used are,
Cardboard
Bottle
Scissor
Glue
How to make a fancy bottle stand.
I drew flowers on the cardboard first and cut them out with the scissors. I am not good at drawing but I do try my best which is better than always telling people to always help me
After cutting out the flowers, I made a hole in the middle of all the flowers.
I made sure the bottle was dry and started putting the flowers after applying the glue on them.
After putting all the flowers, I felt like the bottleneck looked too ordinary so I made a simple design with cardboard and wrapped it around the neck before applying glue.
The design added beauty to the bottle and I love it that way.
I filled the bottle with water and inserted the candle inside. I lit the candle and it's beautiful.
