As the calendar turns to 2026 and we leave 2025 in the dust behind us, the Admins of LadiesOfHive have a message to deliver. We have never once forgotten all the people who make our community thrive — over all the years! — and we are immensely grateful to everyone who has helped in some way! For those not aware, this past September, we were thrilled to celebrate our Fifth Anniversary, and the community has been going strong since it began!
Without members, we would have no community at all! 🙀 That makes our members the most valuable asset we have, and we have some lovely, talented writers in our midst! Many of you have poured out your hearts in the past year (or beyond!) and we are grateful to you for understanding that heart is the essence of any community. It is by sharing our inner ♥ hearts ♥ that we forge friendships and get to know one another.
We are also happy that our members realize that we are here for posts on almost any topic. One does not have to write for the current contest to post within the community, and we frequently have posts about Hive games, raising children, cooking, vacations, and other topics in addition to women's rights and issues. The mix of topics is wonderful, and we thank everyone who published posts to our community page in the past year! Thank you! 😊
Week after week, our beloved Moderators take turns providing questions for the weekly contest and then judging the entries. Sometimes there are dozens of entries, and sometimes hundreds of entries. It takes a lot of time and effort to judge a contest. BUT, the weekly contests are a big part of what keeps our community thriving. The writing prompts are always well-received by the members of the community, and sometimes the prompts even encourage others (who have never participated) to join the fun.
Some of the Moderators have been with us since "Day One" of the community. Some have left while others have stepped-up to fill the gaps. We count them all as precious gems and hold them in our grateful hearts. So, thank you, Moderators!

Okay, someone had to be last on the list 😂 but certainly not because they aren't important! Our delegators enable us to curate and recognize our own members with the @ladiesofhive community account. A human being (either thekittygirl or silversaver888) logs into the @ladiesofhive account every day and reads every post published to the community page, leaves a comment, and upvotes the post. When time and Voting Power allow, that person also curates some of the non-community posts that use our tag. The reason we're able to leave those upvotes — which only amounts to a few pennies, admittedly, but those pennies add-up over time! — is because of the HP that has been delegated to us by our generous delegators!
It is true that we reward our delegators with a small payout every day, but the gratitude in our hearts surpasses anything we could send monetarily. Your support is immensely appreciated!
