Antifascist and Antiracist Pride March
I avoid political topics as much as I can, but sometimes it becomes difficult not to take a stance, especially when you’ve been a victim of a system that used to belittle, humiliate, and point fingers at you for who you are, for your truth. In this case, something as personal as sexuality.
President Javier Milei gave a speech in Davos that, in my opinion, was quite unfortunate. I recommend looking it up and watching it in full for those who wish to form their own opinion—it lasts just under 30 minutes and is available on YouTube.
To me, what he did was a strong attack on the LGBTQ+ community and women. After so many years of struggle to achieve change, following so much violence… I can’t comprehend how someone in such a privileged position—being the President—would use that platform to stigmatize an entire community, associating us with the worst of the worst. It felt like a blow, I’m not exaggerating.
This march took place on February 1st of this year. There were thousands of people—impossible to count. I wanted to take photos of some things I saw; I don’t necessarily agree with everything, but I believe it’s important to show reality. I suppose studying journalism left something in me—sometimes things transcend personal opinion, and you just have to observe.
I know that most of the country elected him, with an overwhelming percentage. Even so, I believe it’s important, even for those who support him, to know how to set limits and not allow abuse of power. Governments come and go, but we will always remain.
I want to have hope for the future, even though I sometimes hear speeches that horrify me from different parts of the world. It feels like we are in a rather dark era—I hope I’m wrong. In the end, I choose to hold onto hope.
This year, there are elections in Argentina, and there is great anticipation about whether the scandals of the past few weeks will have any impact on the results. Personally, I just hope the country moves forward—it is a beautiful nation with immense potential, one that deserves to shine like the sun on its flag.

Marcha del Orgullo Antifascista y Antirracista
Evito lo más que puedo los temas de política, pero a veces se complica un poco el no tomar una postura, especialmente cuando has sido víctima de un sistema que acostumbraba a manospreciarte, humillarte y señalarte por lo que eres, por tu verdad. En este caso algo tan personal como la sexualidad.
El Presidente Javier Milei dio un discurso en Davos que a mi parece fue bastante lamentable. Recomiendo buscarlo y verlo completo a quiene lo desee para que pueda formar su propia opinión, dura poco menos de 30 minutos y está en Youtube.
Para mí lo que hizo fue golpear fuertemente a la comunidad LGBTQ+ y a las mujeres. Tantos años que ha costado poder lograr cambios, luego de tanta violencia... No me entra en la cabeza como alguien desde esa posición tan privilegiada como lo es el ser Presidente, utiliza esa posición para estigmatizar a toda una comunidad, asociándonos con lo peor de lo peor. Se sintió como un golpe, no exagero.
Esta marcha se realizó el día 1 de febrero del presente año. Había miles de personas, imposible de contar. Quise tomar fotografías de algunas cosas que vi, no necesariamente estoy de acuerdo con todo, pero creo que es importante mostrar la realidad, supongo que haber estudiado periodismo dejó algo de eso en mí, a veces las cosas trascienden lo que uno pueda pensar, solo hay que observar.
Sé que la mayoría del país lo elegió, con un porcentaje abrumador. Aún así creo que es importante incluso para quienes lo apoyan, saber poner límites y no permitir que se abuse del poder. Los gobiernos pasan, pero siempre quedaremos nosotros.
Quiero tener esperanza en el futuro, aunque a veces escucho discursos que me horrorizan, desde diferentes parte del mundo. Parece estar en una era bastante oscura, ojalá me equivoque. Al final, elegiré mantener la esperanza.
Este año hay elecciones en Argentina y hay mucha expectativa sobre si los escándalos que han venido sucediendo en las últimas semanas tendrán algún impacto en la elección. Por mi parte solo aspiro a que el país salga adelante, es un país hermoso que parece todo lo más grande, que merece brillar como el sol de su bandera.
