Gluten-Free Chocolate Brownies グルテンフリーのチョコレートブラウニー [English and Japanese]

Gluten-Free Chocolate Brownies

I made very simple, easy, and delicious brownies yesterday using a gluten-free mix. It doesn't contain regular flour, the taste was fantastic, and I couldn't even tell the difference. The main ingredient was rice flour. Although I love fresh cream, I'm trying to avoid it due to its high cholesterol content. Instead, I used yogurt, which surprisingly looked exactly like fresh cream. This visual trick helps me enjoy the treat without feeling uncomfortable. While yogurt isn't as sweet as fresh cream, it complements the overall sweetness of the chocolate, creating a delightful balance.

I decided to save time this year by using this easy mix for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Meanwhile, my husband took care of the fire, creating a cozy atmosphere. The weather has been unusually mild since we experienced a rainstorm. Despite recovering from the damage caused by heavy rain and strong winds, we lost all the snow. It's a rare Christmas without the traditional snowfall. Personally, I prefer less snow. Many cherish a 'White Christmas' for its beauty and symbolism, I'm relieved to avoid snow shovelling at the end of the year.

Anyway, I enjoyed indulging in these gluten-free chocolate brownies! Wishing everyone warmth and joy. Stay warm!
